Chapter 513: Whitebeard''s Defeat


    Whitebeard runs back to continue his fight with n who also has the same idea. They meet again soon and start fighting without saying a word after sting each other. The only thing on their mind is battle.


    n is skillfully handling Whitebeard''s attacks that are imbued with haki & quake power using his martial arts skills taught by Cricket. He uses his acid on his feet to create a slippery substance that makes him able to slide. He slides to move faster and unpredictably without falling.


    His fast & unpredictable sliding moves make Whitebeard unable to hit him. Instead, n keeps hitting Whitebeard from different angles. Also, as he has a much bigger body, Whitebeard is a very easy target for n, while it''s the opposite for Whitebeard as n is much smaller than him.


    Each of n''s attacks is imbued with advanced haki and acid power. The advanced haki damages Whitebeard''s internal organs, while the acid burns his skin, causing itchiness, and creating great pain. Normal people''s bodies would have melted already if they got hit by n''s acid, but Whitebeard only gets a slight burn-like skin.


    n now starts to fight with the intent to win the battle without caring for his method. Though he will never use dirty tricks. He was fighting all of Whitebeard''s attacks head-on before, but now he is trying to avoid all attacks to reduce damage to his body.


    Even so, Whitebeard''s quake attacks still can affect him even if they don''t hit. The powerful vibration can spread in the air and still hit him. But the damage is reduced a lot because they don''t hit him directly.


    Whitebeard gets rather frustrated and stomps the ground with his quake power. It shakes the whole ind and the ground around him gets destroyed, destroying n''s foothold. So n jumps into the air to attack Whitebeard''s head.


    The old man sees it through and sends a quake hook punch toward n who jumps toward him. n clicks his tongue before he suddenly shoots acid through his left palm to the left. The shot is powerful and it actually makes n''s body spin, avoiding Whitebeard''s punch.


    n spins right beside Whitebeard''s punch that goes past him. Then he suddenly kicks Whitebeard''s elbow, causing Whitebeard''s punch''s aim to change. That redirected punch creates a powerful impact that destroys the whole area it''s aimed at and it hits many people who fight on that side.


    n himselfnds on the ground after using the kick to push himself back. Then he dashes again toward Whitebeard before the old man can react. n reaches Whitebeard almost instantly with a punch covered with acid and advanced haki aimed at Whitebeard''s left waist.


    *BAM*


    Whitebeard realizes n''s attack toote and gets hit by that powerful punch. He coughs blood as his big body gets sent flying by n''s punch. The old man flies toward the destroyed area, so there are no trees to block him. He flies very far before descending and starts rolling on the ground.


    Everyone around is shocked to see Whitebeard''s big body fly quite far and roll on the ground. Whitebeard bnces himself and stops his slide by stabbing his weapon into the ground. He looks to where he came from and sees n has run toward him already with an attack ready.


    "You won''t defeat me that easily, brat!"


    Whitebeard stands and holds his weapon that still pierces the ground. He puts a foot on the front and then swings his weapon up to the front. His swing creates a very powerful vertical sh that destroys the ground as it moves toward n.


    "Something like this, I''ve faced it numerous times!"


    n prepares a punch and keeps moving toward the vertical sh energy. He can avoid it, but that will mean he is scared to face Whitebeard''s attack. So he decides to take it and when he gets very close to it, he punches the sh attack with an advanced haki punch from the right side.


    As he hits it from his right side, the sh energy is redirected to his left. He doesn''t face it head-on and parry it, but it still makes his fist a bit numb. He shakes his hand a bit before running toward Whitebeard again.


    "That was a very powerful attack, old man! But that was nothingpared to Grand Captain''s sh attack that I''ve faced many times."


    "Hmph! Cheeky brat."


    n finally reaches Whitebeard and without stopping, he sends a powerful attack. He covers his fist with a drill made of acid that''s obviously coated with advanced haki. Without advanced haki, he can''t break Whitebeard''s quake power, after all.


    Whitebeard responded with a swing of his weapon coated with quake power without haki. The old man can''t use haki as freely as n while using his devil fruit ability. It''s mainly because of his age, so his stamina and concentration aren''t as good as a youngster like n.


    Their attacks sh and get into a stalemate while shockwaves spread everywhere. The impact of their sh pushes everything around them away because they are going all-out. Even the ground is cracking and big rocks fly away.


    They get into a stalemate, but the situation changes after n smirks. His acid drill suddenly bends and Whitebeard''s attack slips to the side. The old man falls forward because he didn''t expect it and loses bnce.


    n is obviously ready as the one who caused this. When Whitebeard falls, he removes his acid drill and coats his right fist with his strongest advanced haki. He then sends a backhanded punch at Whitebeard''s face as the old man falls forward.


    *BAM*


    The fist doesn''t touch Whitebeard''s face because of the advanced haki, but there are ripples spreading everywhere. n doesn''t just use advanced haki but also uses Hasshoken. Whitebeard can feel his brain shaking and the bones in the area that get hit crack.


    That attack sends Whitebeard flying again and crashing into trees before getting stopped by a rock mountain that also gets destroyed even though it''s quite far. Whitebeard is buried by the destroyed rocks and his children want to rush there. But obviously, the Legend & Charlotte Pirates stop them because this is the battle of Captains.


    "Don''t interfere, Marco. Well, not like you can even if you want."


    Marco is lying on the ground with many wounds on his body and Katakuri is stepping on his chest to prevent him from getting up. Their battle is already over a while ago and Katakuri proved himself to be stronger than Marco. Well, Katakuri has even fought Whitebeard to draw a few times, so he is obviously stronger than Marco now.


    *BOOM*


    The destroyed rock mountain that buried Whitebeard explodes. Whitebeardes out of it with blood and injuries on his old body. He still looks as lively as before though.


    "As expected of an old monster like you. It would be very disappointing if you lost just like that."


    "It seems I was still underestimating you, brat. To think you actually have that much power now is very impressive. But it''s still too early for you to defeat me."


    "Heh, well, maybe it''s too early, but for just a few minutes or hours. I will defeat you after a while, after all."


    "Heh, cheeky brat."


    Both of them dash at each other and start fighting again. They use everything they have left to win this battle. But it''s obvious that n is having the upper hand and keeps dominating the battle. He can deflect and avoid Whitebeard''s powerful attack and deliver his powerful attacks.


    Whitebeard keeps getting pushed by n and it''s very difficult for him to fight back as his injuries keep umting. He is losing his ground to someone much younger, but he isn''t frustrated or angry. He is grinning widely instead as he finally can have a very enjoyable battle after a long time.


    "GURARARARA! THAT DIAMOND-HEAD BRAT REALLY TAUGHT YOU WELL. IT FEELS LIKE FIGHTING HIM AGAIN AFTER A LONG TIME."


    Cricket has fought Whitebeard a few times in the past when Whitebeard was still around his prime age. Although Cricket couldn''t defeat Whitebeard yet at that time, he was powerful enough to almost make thest match a draw.


    But theirst match was years ago and Cricket has gotten much stronger now. If they fight again, then Whitebeard knows well that he isn''t Cricket''s match anymore. After all, while Cricket is still getting stronger, Whitebeard is getting weaker.


    Whitebeard can''t fight Cricket anymore, so he''s happy to fight someone taught by Cricket. n''s fighting skills are simr to Cricket even if their fighting styles are different. But there are still resemnces, so Whitebeard is quite happy with this battle.


    Still, the battle will eventually end. After fighting for 11 hours, the battle finally finished. Both of them are covered in blood & have many injuries. They look at each other with eyes still full of fighting spirits.


    "You are really not bad, brat."


    "I always am, geezer."


    *BAM*


    Whitebeard falls forward as he loses consciousness while n is still standing there. The old Emperor has finally been defeated and the new Emperor has risen.
