    The assistant looked puzzled. “First, go and see where Bary is. Be careful not to get caught by him.”

    Despite having many questions, the assistant followed Nydia’s instructions and went to find Bary. He was sitting at a table near the edge, looking gloomy and drinking alone. In the minute that the assistant observed him, two women came up to him to chat, but he brushed them off.
