Ethen could feel the pressure on the other end of the line, almost bringing him to his knees.
“Mr. Graham?” Ethen asked cautiously, “I''ve taken care of everything. That b*stard Justin won''t suspect
that the kids did it.”
Benjamin coldly huffed. “Come and get punished tonight!” Ethen spoils those kids too much. If he
continues to indulge them in the future, won''t they bewless?
Ethen didn''t dare to plead and meekly responded, “Yes!” Punishing me is better than punishing the
kids. I''m tough.
Benjamin pinched his fingers, his eyes deep and inscrutable. After a while, he called Kingsley. “Keep
an eye on the project at Northstream for me. I''m too busy taking care of Arissa to go there.”
“Huh?” Kingsley was a bit baffled when he suddenly received an order from Benjamin.
“Depart immediately!” Benjamin left no room for discussion.
Kingsley eximed in despair, “Can''t you ask Ethen instead? I have a y that''s about to premiere. I''m
really busy.”

There was no helping it, as the one with money held absolute power. If Benjamin withdrew the funding
at that crucial moment, then there would be no hope for his new drama to be released.
“All right, all right. I''ll go.” Kingsley leaned back, falling straight onto the bed, feeling utterly despondent.
Although Northstream sounds like a nice ce, it''s actually a barren area! Benjamin is ruthless. He
doesn''t go himself but sends me instead. Did I somehow offend him?
The thought of the night they took the kids out forte-night snacks and bumped into Benjamin made
Kingsley shudder. That cunning fox, Benjamin, must be doing this because of that matter. But wouldn''t
it be a bit unfair to punish me alone?
As it turned out, he called Shaun, who was also in distress because he had just found out that
Benjamin had canceled his research project.
Without funds, it was hard to make any progress.
“Haha! I thought Benjamin was only going to punish me. Turns out you can''t escape either!” Kingsley

teaching us a lesson!” Kingsley chuckled, clearing up the confusion for him.
Shaun simply didn''t believe it. It can''t be just because of this.
“So, does this mean Ethen can''t escape either?”
“Right. Ethen is involved too, I''ll call him.” Kingsley immediately hung up the phone to call Ethen.
Shaun felt that the quickest way was to ask Benjamin directly and, at the same time, plead with the
latter to continue funding the research project.
Benjamin didn''t want to take his call, so he hung up directly.
Shaun called again.
Seeing him ignore the calls several times, Arissa found it strange and asked, “Why aren''t you
answering your phone?”
“It''s Shaun. He''s so annoying!” Benjamin expressed with disdain.
Arissa''s lips twitched slightly. Seeing his phone ring again, she urged, “You should answer it quickly. It
might be something important.”
Naturally, Benjamin knew why Shaun was calling. He initially didn''t want to answer, but Arissa was
staring at him.

“Benjamin, why did you halt my research project? It''s already halfway done!”
“That''s a waste of resources!” Benjamin scoffed lightly.
“How could this be a waste of resources? Once this research ispleted, our hospital will benefit
exponentially. It''ll be truly a waste if we stop now. I guarantee you won''t regret continuing to invest!”
Shaun was on the verge of tears.
