    “I''m taking his temperature. He doesn''t feel as hot anymore.”


    Shaun nced at his watch, then removed the thermometer from Tim''s armpit.


    “Hmm, still over thirty-eight degrees. It dropped slightly, though.”


    Kingsley felt Tim''s neck. “He doesn''t feel as hot as he did before.”


    Benjamin frowned. His heart clenched at the sight of Tim lying in bed and grimacing in pain.


    “Bring his temperature down further,” he ordered Shaun.


    “I will. I''ll rub some more ointment on him.”


    Shaun took the ointment, which was capable of reducing heat rash, and began applying it on the child.


    Then, he took an alcohol swab and dabbed Tim''s palms.


    “How long more will it take for the rash on his face to disappear?”


    Judging by the severity of his son''s condition, Benjamin thought it was going to take a while for him to

    Zachary nced at him. “Are you thinking about Tim not being able to see Mommy?”

    Kingsley and Shaun were amused by the antics of the father-and-son duo.


    “I think Arissa would buy any excuse you give her, Boss,” Kingsley teased with a grin.


    Benjamin rolled his eyes at him. “Help me think of something,” he muttered.


    Kingsley smiled. “I wouldn''t dare. It''d be better if you came up with something on your own lest you

    “Got it. How''s Tim doing?” Gavin asked over the phone.


    “He''s doing much better. You can see for yourself when you get here.”
