    “I’m afraid I can’t make it today. I still have things to attend to, and I need to leave in a bit. I’ll officially


    start tomorrow, so I’ll treat you all to a meal then!” She was their superior, and it would not be


    appropriate for her to let them pay. “Okay!” Everyoneughed and did not have any objections. The


    atmosphere was lively. They slowly dispersed after greeting her and got back to their tasks.


    Arissa was initially worried that the environment there would be solemn. Unexpectedly, she was wrong.


    It was very upbeat and casual. Thus, she was already looking forward to starting her new job. “I still


    need to go over the procedures, right? I’ll do it now and officially start work tomorrow.”


    Arissa wanted to get everything settled on the day itself. “No rush. The contract isn’t done yet, so you


    can leave first.” Ethen saw that she was busy, so he was in no rush to run over the procedures with her.


    “Okay. In that case, I’ll sign the contract once it’s done.


    I’ll be taking my leave then!” She shook his hand and continued, “I’ll treat you some other day!” She


    would not have thought about going back there if it was not for him. “I should be the one treating you


    since your arrival will lighten my burden.” Arissa’s addition to thepany meant that he no longer had


    to worry about recruitment as she was a perfect fit. “I’ll send you off, Ms. York.” Sheughed and said


    goodbye to the rest, “I’ll be leaving first!”


    No one responded as they were all working with their earphones on. She would have felt awkward if it


    was not for the warm wee she received just now. Noticing her awkwardness, Ethen chuckled.


    “They’re always like that. I hope that you’ll get used to it soon. If you need anything, you can let them


    know or you can just text them in the group!”
