    "I''m not going to waste my time on you. This is Soutke Corporation''s application to set up a branch


    office here. Sign it at once."


    Caspian tossed the document onto the desk in front of Chadwick.


    He didn''t want to waste his breath on a guy like Chadwick.


    "Soutke Corporation?" Chadwick repeated. That name infuriated him further.


    Was this punk working for Soutke Corporation? How could this bastard be so disrespectful when he


    was the one asking for a favor?


    "I''ve made myself clear already. I won''t be approving Soutke Corporation''s application. It''s your fault


    for offending Mr. Gasse. I''m not signing this!" Chadwick dered coldly.

    Chadwick thought Caspian was blowing his horn. Why would he have the guts to hit Zayn? It had to be


    a joke.


    Zayn was the son of the Gasse family!


    "Will you sign it or not?" Caspian asked once more.


    "Never!" Chadwick staunchly dered.


    Caspian shook his head. Chadwick was a stubborn and ignorant fool.


    "Teach him a lesson, Sylvia," Caspian instructed.


    Sylvia walked up to Chadwick.


    "What do you think you''re doing? I''m going to call security!" Chadwick shouted as he eyed Sylvia


    fearfully. Even though she was a beautiful woman, he felt very uneasy.


    Sylvia immediately started giving Chadwick a fierce pounding, and he howled in agony.


    Unfortunately for him, the soundproofing for his office was excellent. The others outside couldn''t hear


    what was happening inside his office.

    Caspian didn''t expect Chadwick to be this adamant still.

    Caspian sat down and lit a cigarette.


    Chadwick was confused. Was that supposed to be a joke? Why would he ever beg for mercy?


    Either way, he knew he couldn''t approve the application no matter what. As long as he held out, Zayn


    would definitely reward him handsomely.


    Just then, the door to Chadwick''s office flew open with a bang, and a few men in suits came in.


    "Which one of you is Chadwick Sheehan?" the man in the lead asked solemnly.


    "That''s me. Who are you people? What are you doing here?" Chadwick asked after getting to his feet.


    "We''re from the Inspector General''s office. You''re under suspicion for misconduct. Kindlye with us


    for further investigation," the man replied while holding out his identification badge.


    Chadwick''s eyes widened. He was dumbstruck.


    Why were the authorities here to take him into custody? He didn''tmit any crimes.


    Furthermore, he was working for the Gasse family. Who would dare to mess with him?


    Did these people make some kind of mistake?


    Chadwick couldn''t wrap his head around the situation.
