Ada had hoped to find any hint of anger and jealousy on Silvia’s face, so she was disappointed to see
her unbothered expression.
She sneered and looked at Silvia in disdain. “Do you honestly believe that pretending to be tolerant will
win Neil’s heart? Stop deluding yourself!”
“Ada, you’re really pitiful,” Silvia calmly said.
“What did you say?!”
Ada’s eyes widened in anger and disbelief.

Silviaughed. She might have yearned for love from the Pond Family and Neil, but that was in the
past. She did not care about such things anymore.
The most important thing now was to love herself. Seeking validation from others would only trap her in
a never–ending cycle of self–doubt.
