    After he got scolded by his deity, Morris went to the area of the homunculus only to find that it was gone. There were no signs of it escaping the door leading to the exit, it was fully intact even in the dark corners he doesn''t hear a single scream. He kept on looking until he found a mysterious hole beneath the room leading to the sewers. He guess that it was the emergency exit that the alchemist had used. When he ventured deeper into the hole, he sees the homunculus bashing its head through the seal that the forgotten sage had applied

    When he had a whiff of the toxic aromaing from the monster evo gas near the sewer he puts on his mask. In case he gets weakened due to its effect, he rushes to the homunculus''s back whilst he holds both of his daggers. He quickly move his body andnded on top of its back he was a little weirded out by the fact that the homunculus grew smaller in size. Once he has driven his dagger to the neck of the quadrex he finally notices the reason for its size


    "Why isn''t it going through," He noticed its body, had developed a scale that could even block one of his sharpest daggers


    He was left with no other option but to withdraw only to meet the reason why it became so small. Bear the exit were three other homunculi that were holding a weapon made through their flesh and blood. Morris cast a spell to manipte the shape of the sewer after he controlled every piece of stone to block their attack. It was easily reduced to a piece of rubble after the three homunculi broke his defense. With only a few seconds before they could react to what had urred in their eyes, he use haste to maneuver from the sewers


    "What the hell are they? I thought I was hunting the Quadrex, Appraise!!!," He appraises his enemies which reveals the identity of the four individual homunculus

    Seeing that all of the four heads that were once stuck with each other formed their own, bodies. They changed into a small and deadlier version of their previous form. With their mutated body that wasn''t even pierced by his weapon, he quickly fled from the scene to enter another area. The four homunculi saw this and they chose to follow him whilst they attacked him from his back

    "I''m on it just shut your mouth for a second I can''t think properly with all of this noise," Morris injected his body feet with a chunk of his mana in his feet, the surging power gave him the power to jump back to the surface


    The homunculi focused on attacking and giving him no time to retaliate the sher closes in on his spot. Morris got distracted and due to hisck of focus, the archer was able to shoot out a volley of spikes toward his spot. He dodges all of them by overclocking his mana cirction that''s draining away his excess mana. Which prevented another recoil to ur which would''ve been the worst-case scenario at a time like this


    "Twin mystic sh!!!" He shoots out his powerful spell toward the Archer''s rain of spikes. However, his attacks were blocked by the Tanker''s shield withoutnding a single hit on the Archer. Among the smoke that was caused by his spell, the sher used the smoke to its advantage tond a fatal blow on Morris''s body


    His right hand was lost in the process, whilst he dodges the attack that came from his legs and escapes with just a gaping hole. If he was a littlete to react his leg would''ve fallen off of his body if he takes another step. They cornered him until he experienced a gruesome death


    But a secondter they became more and more suspicious about his body, something doesn''t add up. The fact that his body wasn''t dripping with a single drop of blood made them scatter only for the body to explode. They were able to escape before they got caught by his attack but they didn''t escape from his ns. There was an unknown liquid covering their body to the brim. The four homunculi were dumbfounded as an attack pierced through their skin


    They notice that there were too yers that were identical to each other whilst they pped. They kept on pping until another one shows in front of the Quadrex variants, the copy no the original was holding a bottle filled with an aromatic scent. This person whos identical to the two that attack the variants pped after disying the fantastic scenery which they disyed

    "Congrattions on killing one of my mirages well, that one was a gift for you a liquidized Feijin flower. They are also known as healer killers and are known for their beautiful nature and lovely smell. The best part is that they can destroy regenerative cells inside a body. This ability was feared by any kind of monster with just a whiff of their scent," After he arrives at his spot his copies came back to his side after they sessfully injured their foe


    The deities that were watching Morris''s broadcast were shocked by the turn of events, as the second fightmenced. He applied the amount of damage needed to the four homunculi to enter their 2nd phase making them faster and stronger than before. With the aid of his copies, he shes with the quadrex variants along whilst he applied the feijin flower

    "Mana cirction overclocked!!!" Morris gained a burst of movement speed which he used to apply the liquidized flower through his de and shes different parts of the homunculus


    In response to his aggressive fighting style, the homunculus burst out a powerful scream that could break his ear. He didn''t have a choice but to stop and cover his ears, the was loud enough that it created a shockwave. This attack caught him off guard and knocked him to a wall while his copies dispersed


    He gets back to his feet and sees the homunculus breaking the walls of each side of the room. It opened its mouth that acted as a suction cup and gather all the remaining monster evo gas while the four variants hadbined


    [System: Error, Error, Error, Error, Error the homunculus is gathering the Monster evo gas forcing itself to go further beyond phase 2]


    The deities froze upon seeing something unbelievable happen with their own eyes, a monster that denied the system and forced its body to evolve. After the error, he gained a ton of messages from the system telling him to withdraw from the mission. The homunculus transformed into a difficulty beyond the rank of the trial''s difficulty. He chose to decline their offer without even listening to the Gm''s words of advice


    ''600 tokens? You want me to give you this big chunk of Exp for 600 tokens? The fucking audacity of this Gm... I''m not giving up a big catch, let''s get this over with,''

    After it consumes the remaining gas it finally finishes its final form where it stands on its feet. This 20-meter tall monster moves to his location and stomped its feet towards that he dodges at the right time and swings his de. He parried the spikes that came from its body dodging all of them while he uses the remaining few as a stepping stone. He got closer to its head which he stabbed and applied the feijin flower through its wound

    "There''s still one thing that im betting on I just need to lure it to that, location," Morris activates mirage to trick the Quadrex while he prepared for its arrival


    "Graaaaaaaahhhh!!!," The quadrex screams shook the undergroundboratory with every passing second


    Fed up with fighting Morris''s illusion it used its extraordinary sense of smell to track him down. It quickly ran towards the traps that weren''t even a problem to cross over and destroyed a wall just to enter the room where Morris was preparing his final attack. He holds up his mana flower which he used every mana he stored to spawn five copies of himself. With their help, he shed away the homunculus''s health


    "Haste!!!" Morris yelled while his mirage did the same thing, they kept on copying his attack whilst they chip away at its health. The Quadrex uses all of its skill to ward off his attack which also brings about the end id his copies


    Even after all of his efforts and skillsbined, he wasn''t able to vanquish the homunculus. His vision darks as the feet id the homunculus darkened his view and with a loud shockwave, he was ttened by the homunculus''s attack. But this only brings about the final phase of his n and his corpse was nothing but a mere copy of the original. It spawned a root that covered its leg rendering the homunculus unable to move for a short time

    The Quadrex sensed a powerful surge of mana near its area where it sees the original standing at the top of the pir. He takes a peculiar stance while all of his mana was focused on his sword and it glowed so brilliantly. His stance wasn''t just for show, it''s real purpose made him channel the mana in his surroundings and ce it in his sword


    "Mystic sh, 1st form Vertical swing!!!" He said as he swung down his sword that weighed as much mana that he applied. Unleashing a powerful swing enough to finish the homunculus and leave a gigantic mark in the underground ruins.

    He rushes outside the warehouse where he sees Esther and Kyo we''re confused when his copy disappeared from their hands. Since it''s been a long time since he reunited with the two. Instead of giving them a proper reunion, he stands behind their backs while they mourn his death. He wanted to give them a spook so he came up with the perfect idea


    "I''m alive," Morris hugs the two of them whilst his hands reach up to their head where he gently caresses their head. Those two words were thest thing he could''ve ever said after he got punched when he startled Esther. She believed that Morris was his ghost that came back to haunt her till the day she dies
