    Quickly, thewyer prepared the agreement, in duplicate, handing one copy to Elizabeth and one to Hugo, “Please review it and if there are no issues, sign it. Then we’ll have it notarized.”


    Elizabeth reviewed it quickly, “I have no issues.”


    Hugo read it more slowly, scrutinizing every word to ensure nothing was missed.


    After reviewing the agreement, Hugo said, “I have an issue.”


    “What is the issue?” thewyer asked.


    Hugo did not respond to thewyer but instead looked at Amber, who stood by Elizabeth’s side, silent the whole time, “Amber, you were adopted by me, but you’ve lived with your grandmother these past few years. Now that I’ve severed ties with her, I need to ask you: will youe with me, or will you continue to stay with your grandmother?”
