    The reason Yancy sent Akiko to Hayes Corporation was not so much for gaining insider information


    about thepany. Rather, it was just to stoke Solomon to anger.

    “Did someonee by?”


    “Oh, Uncle Jackson came by in the afternoon. I asked him to stay back for lunch, but he said he didn’t


    like my cooking, so he went back already.”


    Sasha looked at her father as he spoke. Time had left its mark on Rufus and it broke Sasha’s heart to


    see him aged.


    Although he was already out of prison, Heather was already gone. Only Rufus and Lance were staying


    in this house now. She could imagine how difficult things must have been for both of them.
