Kurt suddenly turned toward ze, narrowing his eyes as he retorted, “You appear quite pleased that

ze let out a mockingugh, her smile filled with contempt. “Would you ever grow attached to an
animal? If you did, it would only prove how much you demean yourself. I''m a human, and I refuse to

Kurt''s expression darkened, a trace of malevolence subtly emanating from his furrowed brows, his
anger simmering.
“Your period has ended, hasn''t it? In that case, let''s take our time to reminisce, shall we?”
ze''s face paled, a flicker of fear shing across her eyes.
Her timid response triggered Kurt, who was by the bedside, and in an instant, his cruelty red. At this
moment, all he wanted was to torment her relentlessly, to push her to her limits.
Seeing him draw near, ze clenched her teeth and taunted, “Didn''t you mention using a sedative on
me, controlling my perception, making me see you as Cameron? Where is the drug?”
Let''s bring this to an end tonight. If he dares to drug me, I''ll pretend to be drugged. Then, once he lets

bargaining chip. We may still need to confront Mr. Broderick directly.”

Broderick. We will request that he permits us to depart from the Rogers family, even if it means giving
