Waverly frantically turned to look at her husband and hinted at him to express his opinion.
Steven raised his brow slightly. After hesitating for a moment, he said, “It doesn''t matter if they''re my
biological daughter or adopted daughter. I''ll never abandon them.”

A hint of hesitation shed across Artemis'' eyes, which slowly turned into reluctance.
He could no longer force himself to put up a farce.
