    Eugene''s eyes fell on Mnie, who said nonchntly, “My car broke down on the road”


    Mnie picked up the ss of wine that Eugene pushed to Stephen and said, “I can drink on his behalf if you want someone to


    drink with.


    “Drink on his behalf?” Eugene spoke through clenched teeth. He looked at them yfully and said casually, “Ms. Smith, what''s


    your rtionship with Mr. York that you can drink in his stead?”


    Mnie frowned. The displeasure in Eugene’s tone was obvious.


    Vi, who had been silent, suddenly asked in surprise, “Mr. York, are you Mnie’s boyfriend?”
