I was taking a walk in the streets I sat down on the bench that was closest to me suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder a white police officer said,"Hey kid go sit on the other bench!" I said,"Why?" He looked at me like I was a fool and pointed at the white''s only sign I sighed and walked over to the other bench then he walked away. I saw the nice boy who I bumped into earlier I took a quick glance at him and he looked back he said,"Hi." I said,"Hi how are you?" "Fine." He said. He came over to the bench I was sitting at. I was confused I whispered quietly so the officer couldn''t hear us. I said,"You''re not supposed to be on this bench." He said,"I know but I don''t care I''d rather sit with you." I said,"I''d rather sit here too." And he said,"By the way what''s your name? Mine is Eric Prowell" I said,"Mine is Stacy Janes." I noticed he was sitting really close to me but I didn''t mind. A little voice inside me told me this was wrong but....It felt so right. He looked at his watch and said,"Uh I gotta go back to my house for dinner nice to see you again.....Stacy." I waved and said,"Nice to see you again Eric." I decided that I better get home too I didn''t want mom and dad to get worried about me. I saw my friend Josey. She had long dark brown hair and brown eyes. She said,"Hi Stacy! How you doing?" "Fine!" I said. I looked down at my own watch it was 6:02 I was supposed to help mama with dinner soon so I said,"I gotta go help my mom with dinner see you at school Josey!" "See you later Stacy!"
