Chapter 70- The test~1
Two things one should be aware of about the youngest Prince.
He is the strongest sibling and one of the strongest people who have ever been born in the royal lineage. And second: he is very protective of his sister.
"So what did you say about yourself? A butler right?" The man who goes by the name—Aiden Triwin Valenchide was currently upying the seat across Kyle and tia.
While Kyle knew that it wasn''t true, he couldn''t help but feel a set ofrge threatening eyes looking at him from behind and a moment of mistake could cost him his life.
The short blond-haired prince had a very nonchnt demeanor around him like he wasn''t the same person who ughtered a family at the age of seven. Not only has he seen blood and killed people, but Aiden often goes on missions assigned by the Emperor to keep himself busy.
Canonically, Aiden never helped Logan since he always med thetter for stealing his sister. But if Aiden had, then the war would have been wrapped up in a day.
And that entity to hold such great strength, was currently directing hostility towards Kyle.
Kyle remained silent and nodded in assent.
The Prince hummed before he turned his eyes toward his sister and with a smile, he asked,
"Sis....how long will you hate me if I identally kill him?"
tia''s gaze, which has never wavered from disying indifference, grew sharper as she clearly stated, "I will die with him."
"Wooh~scary sis. I was just joking, why so serious?"
''No, you weren''t...'' Kyle muttered inwardly. He was feeling the Prince''s killing intent when he raised the query and if tia didn''t have been quick, then who knows what this half-crack human might have done.
"Brother Aiden, do you care about your sister?" tia suddenly raised the query which made Aiden tilt his head,
"Yep. Is there any doubt in that?"
"Then...can you promise me one thing?"
This was probably the first time after years since tia had talked so nicely to him. After Aiden ughtered that family, whose son bullied tia in school, she usually ignored him because she didn''t want him to take such a brute step.
That''s why, being asked so nicely by his sister caught Aiden by surprise and his indifferent facade crumbled a bit,
"Y-Yeah, what is it? You know I can do anything for you, right?"
Kyle actually admired how much tia was pampered and loved by her brothers. But naturally, he didn''t share his thoughts and remained standing silently.
tia raised her hand and held Kyle''s before she asked, "In the future if some problem arises...then would youe to help us?" She put some pressure on thest word so he won''t misunderstand.
And as she expected Aiden didn''t miss it, "You do realize what you are implying by your words, right? Tia....you are really involved with him romantically."
The pressure on Kyle''s shoulder increased to the point his legs were shaking. He has never felt someone with such a domineering presence that even the slightest fluctuation of his emotions could inflict such pressure.
Under his tyrannical re, tia maintained a soft gaze and stated without showing any hesitation,
"Yes, I am, brother. And just like me, you have to protect Kyle from now on as well. Promise me."
If Kyle could, he would have stopped tia from saying such things all of a sudden to that person who must have been thest one to know about it.
Suddenly, the pressure from Kyle elevated and the Prince got up from his seat, "I need to talk to him for a moment before I can promise you."
As he buttoned his waistcoat he looked at Kyle and shared his intention.
tia anxiously nced at Kyle and was about to shake her head in denial, only to stop upon finding Kyle''s hand on her shoulder.
He gave her an assuring look which seemed to say, ''Let me handle this.''
tia didn''t have any other choice than to nod. She knew if things came down to it, Kyle wouldn''t hesitate to use his Cursed Dolls. And for assurance, she and Kyle were tied in a very bond as well, so any danger in his life would alert her.
Suddenly Kyle felt someone ring at him and without looking up he knew the reason was Aiden''s displeasure so he removed his hand from tia''s shoulder and asked the Royal Highness,
"Shall we depart, Your Highness?"
"We shall." His stern response made tia giggle but that smile wouldn''t melt Aiden''s heart! He would test this guy before giving his eptance.

Kyle walked. Aiden walked. They walked. Utter silence.
The full moon hung in the night like a pretty flower beautifying the whole sky. The garden in the back was surrounded by soldiers just like any other side, but they made not a single movement to let their presence disturb the two individuals.
Although they had been walking for the past five minutes, it didn''t mean they were going around in a circle. Aiden was leading Kyle to somewhere.
Just like any other pce, there was one back route present through which they walked by.
If Kyle had been alone then the soldiers would have stopped him from proceeding from this gate. However, Aiden''s presence was like an all-entry card that could allow him to go anywhere he desired.
After exiting the pce there was a jungle trail which led to the city borders if followed cautiously. This route was made to escape if the situation arose, however, neither was there any war ongoing nor were they following the trail that led to the borders.
Aiden led him inside the small forest which was present only on this side of the capital.
There were no wild beasts here but only those which were kept under the Emperor''s orders.
Aiden had a clear destination in mind that''s why he never seemed double-minded about the turns he took.
Kyle naturally followed him without asking anything. He sensed that there was some kind of test awaiting him at the end of this journey. Or maybe Aiden was going to extra lengths to try and kill Kyle anyway?
He was prepared for both.
"We are here."
Finally, they came to a halt before nothing particr. Just like everywhere there were trees and silence here as well—until Aiden didn''t raise his hand, and along with the gesture, a bunch of leaves scattered on the ground, lifted—revealing a small hole carved in the ground.
Kyle raised his brows since he had never heard of something like this here nor had he heard from tia.
"You know what''s in there?" Aiden asked; his voice strangely ominous.
With a frown, Kyle shook his head.
A smirk danced across the blond one''s lips as he whispered, "There is a cursed pond in there that can kill anyone who lies."
Kyle turned to look at the Prince before asking, "And...Your Highness wants me to dip in that and answer your questions?"
"Yeeeep~you scared?"
In response to that, Kyle didn''t say anything rather he began to unbutton his shirt.
Aiden stifled augh before he jumped inside while calling out, "Don''t run away~"
Kyle was done undressing and was narrowed down in his shorts before he tied his long hair and also jumped inside.
His eyes widened upon finding such a wide space present under the ground. The whole ce looked like a broken and not well-maintained poolside.
He controlled his body weight and after spinning in the air, hended perfectly in the water pool.

For a moment when his body went inside the pond, his eyes caught a horrifying scene.
There were skeletons of human beings inside...and not one or two but hundreds in number. It was like the whole base of the pond wasyered with bones.
"Pwah!" He immediately got his head above the water and found Aiden seated on a throne he made out of stones.
"This ce is where I bring the criminals to torture them. In that pond, the more you lie the more it would hurt, so choose your words carefully, bud." With a grin that showed his sharp canine, Aiden stated.
The Prince was expecting some hesitation at this point. After all, who would be willing to go through something like this just because they love a girl?
And Aiden expected Kyle to surrender now, which would have been so helpful for him.
But,
"I am prepared for your questions." With an unwavering look, Kyle responded.
Aiden hid his annoyance pretty well, before, with his eyes turning serious, he began,
"Very well then..."
