Chapter 62- Daring


    ra was unsure of her life motive for some days now.


    Although she liked potion researching and teaching the students about it, her main motive foring to Starfall Academy was to search for the person who saved her.


    Call her a little girl living in a dream but she wanted to thank the Mister who came into her life like a gale and disappeared without warning.


    Her primary motive to find him turned out sessful as she somehow stumbled upon the person who held her magical pouch. And his voice was familiar as well.


    ra was enthralled by the discovery and for the next few days she began to do something that she wouldn''t have thought of doing in her rational mind.


    She became a child.


    Following Kyle everywhere and trying to talk to him whenever he is alone. Trying to not get caught by his mistress and sneaking behind tia''s back to chat with Kyle at every moment of opportunity.


    It was like a child''s fantasy bing true. She felt delighted and excited.


    She recalled each word she talked to Kyle around the day once sheid on the bed at night. And with a shy smile, she wondered what she might talk to him the next time they met.


    The excitement, the anticipation, the thrill she felt every time she came across him was inexplicable.


    This was her first. Feeling so many emotions was new to her.


    However, since she was looking at the situation only from her perspective she became delusional that Kyle was also excited to meet her.


    She failed to notice the frown that marred his face every time she tried to approach him....the displeasure in his voice and the repulsion in his eyes which ra noticed but chose to ignore.


    She knew Kyle and tia had a far greater connection than just of a master and servant but she thought, if she tried to pursue him Kyle would give her some attention as well.


    She was....delusional. Kyle didn''t see her the way he looked at tia. Far from it.


    He didn''t like her. Well, ra knew she wasn''t beautiful to begin with and she was older than him so it was understandable.


    However, there was hope in her heart that Kyle might not reject her. Or was it just a shallow belief?


    ra doesn''t know. She doesn''t know anything.


    ''Ahh~is this what people call getting rejected by your crush?'' Propping her chin on her palm she looked out of the window towards the clouds as a sigh seeped through her lips.


    "Professor ra? Is everything alright?"


    "Hmm? Yeah!" She answered the Professor nearby immediately in her usual vigour


    She nearly forgot that there were other teachers in the staff room as well.


    The one who asked ra about her well-being was the Professor of Micro Biology who generally teaches the third year. Her name is Ruby, and just like ra she alsoes from amoner''s background.


    "You look distracted these days a lot...is there something that is troubling you?" The ck-haired Professor nudged ra with her shoulder before asking in a teasing tone, "Is this love trouble I am sensing?"

    Suddenly Ruby and ra, along with several other staff members turned to look at the source of that snapping sound.


    The bespectacled Professor dropped the pen from his hand which had snapped in two, before he said, "I apologize. I think I put a little too much pressure on it."


    Nobody said anything about that and Ceaser took out another pen before continuing his work.


    Ruby shivered slightly as she whispered to ra, "Don''t you think Professor Ceaser behaves a little strangely?"


    ra wanted to agree but considering their words might be heard by the person himself, she just shrugged.


    Never could she have expected that her nonchnce toward her surroundings would be such a grave mistake.

    After Logan fell into battle, he was taken to the infirmary. He has received a concussion but that doesn''t vite the rules, so tia wasn''t punished.


    The rest of the spars continued normally and never a student was as brutally thrashed as Logan in the ring.


    After leaving the gymnasium, tia and Kyle were returning to the dorm, since the afternoon sses were off and the students were allowed to rest in their rooms.


    tia had to return to the council office in a few hours but until then, she decided to take a break.


    "You clearly took revenge..." Those words didn''t affect tia''s movements as she retained herposure and responded to her butler,


    "Yes, you are right. But I never knew he was so frail to fall in one hit. If I had known, I would have prolonged the battle a little longer."


    Those words made Kyle troubled slightly and a sense of tion was born within.


    There was no doubt that tia took revenge for that incident that urred some days ago outside of the council office. However, considering that the blood lust she permeated towards the Protagonist made Kyle feel, a littleplicated.


    "You could have been disqualified."


    "Doesn''t matter. I would gain several points by doing council work." Her answer was straightforward and contained no hesitation.


    From the start, she was prepared for everything.


    As they were about to reach the dorm, Kyle asked her, "Have you thought of how you would co-operate with your group members?"


    "I won''t be a part of one."


    Kyle raised his brows in shock, "You know that''s impossible right? Everyone has to be in a group to participate in the school activities."


    Hearing his words, tia smirked and vaguely responded, "Don''t worry about it. I know what I am doing."

    After they shared lunch and tia slept for an hour, they returned to the school building.


    tia was in her training period that''s why she couldn''t ck off, even on days of weekends. However, since they have to return to the Capital this weekend, she has decided to ask for leave today.


    As they reached the council office, tia turned to look at him and said, "It''s highly unlikely that he would wake up today but if that half-crack attacks you again, don''t hold back."


    The ''half-crack'' here was Logan. Kyle couldn''t help but chuckle hearing those words before he slowly nodded, "Okay, now go."


    Kyle was about to open the door for tia, when suddenly he felt her lips on his cheek for a moment, and the next moment, she disappeared from sight.


    Kyle cupped his cheek with a stupid look on his face as he wondered how hisdy gained such daring.


    ''Seriously...''


    But soon he wiped off the smirk and stood outside the council office with a solemn face—


    —only to frown soon after as he felt the potion bag in his pocket, suddenly trembling.


    ''Hmm?'' Kyle took out the pouch which ra gave him and found the brown small pouch was beating strongly like a heart.


    ''Wait....doesn''t this mean....''
