Natalie gave Samuel a look of disbelief. “You actually recognized me from the old scars?”
“There are three deep scars and eleven light ones on your body. As for their locations and shapes,
even you might not be fully aware of them.” Samuel tly exined, “I had all those scars seared into
my mind. Therefore, when they tried to replicate those scars on the corpse to trick everyone into
thinking that you were dead, it backfired by indicating to me that you were still alive.”
