"In that case, you should''ve told us about it sooner instead of trying to shoulder everything on your
own! This isn''t something you can manage all by yourself, you know? Were you going to try and hide it
from us forever if Nat didn''t tell us about it?"

Joyce fell silent instantly as that was indeed her intention.She wouldn''t have told anyone about her
pregnancy if she knew about it sooner.
By not telling her parents about it, she would be able to spare them a great deal of shock and concern.
