    Taking a deep breath, Lucy conveyed, “Your father has read your paper and knows about the patient


    mentioned in the case study.”


    “He wants you to know that you’ll always be a pride for him and your mother.”

    “Did dad really say that?” she looked at Lucy.


    Lucy rolled her eyes. “Why would I lic?”
