    “However.” Dr. Keeples pursed his lips. “I’m afraid he might not agree.”


    “You know Isaac’s character. Martha was his mentor while he was in school, and you took the best care


    of him after he started working. I’m not sure he’d befortable witnessing a confrontation between


    you and Martha.”


    Cherise pursed her lips. She had also thought about this. “I’ll try to convince him.”


    “Alright.” Dr. Keeples sighed. “I’ll notify everyer, including the city’s leaders.”


    “I’ll hold a press conference on behalf of our hospital tomorrow. Lermille’s leaders and media will attend
