    After finishing the incantation, Eagle Swift’s face flushed an unnatural red. He turned to Ye Tong with a cold stare and said, “We still require one yer’s soul sacrifice…”


    Ye Tong’s face twisted in terror as she screamed. With every eleration skill activated she ran towards the valley, trying to flee for her life.

    A pitch-ck whipshed out, entwining itself around Ye Tong’s ankle and yanking her to the ground. The strike was swift and precise, as if meticulously nned.


    Eagle Soar slowly reeled Ye Tong back in, expressing his regret, “We intended to bring you into the instance, but unluckily for you…”


    Ye Tong struggled desperately, crying out, “Please spare me! Don’t kill me! Please, don’t kill me!”


    “The game’s progress has been disrupted. This was originally our chance, but someone beat us to it. You should me the person who entered the instance first and carried out the plot mission,” Eagle Fly coldly retorted, his gaze on Ye Tong as if looking at a corpse.

    Eagle Swift flipped his right hand, brandishing a foot-long dagger that plunged into Ye Tong’s heart with deadly precision. Ye Tong felt a sharp pain in her chest, her strength draining away as her body went limp.

    The sacrificial incantation sounded once again from Eagle Swift’s mouth. Ye Tong’s body suddenly ignited in a translucent me, countless radiant specks of light bursting forth. They slowly drifted towards the stone gate, while her vitality points rapidly depleted, a series of damage numbers appearing above her head.


    The specks of light quickly melded into the gate and vanished. As they did, the gate’s surface erupted in dazzling brilliance, illuminating the entire valley.


    After several seconds, Ye Tong’s body was no longer able to produce any more light specks, and her vitality points hit zero. She became a lifeless corpse.


    “That should do it!” Eagle Swift callously threw Ye Tong’s corpse aside like a piece of trash.

    The stone gate, glowing with a crimson hue, slowly creaked open, revealing a narrow passageway that could amodate only one person at a time.
