Ava calmed her amusement. “Yes, chocte is too sweet for me. But if chocte is bitter, maybe I like it.”
Hearing that, Jeremy''s shoulders regained strength. His eyes turned bright. “Actually, our dessert is chocte. | was afraid that
tonight would be ruined because of the wrong menu choice. But it was dark chocte. You don’t mind, right?”
Ava’s cheerfulness instantly disappeared. She just realized that Jeremy was worried because of her joke.

that almost filled the whole te. The sprinkle of strawberry slices around it looks like rose petals at first nce.

“Wow, this is very beautiful! But why is there only one? Do we have to share?” Ava raised an eyebrow.
Jeremy lifted the corner of his lips. “This is a special chocte ball. There is only one in the world. Pour this hot chocte on it.
Later the ball will melt and show what''s inside.”
Ava watched the brown ball, nodding. “It must have been difficult to make. It''s natural for you to call it special.”
“Come on,” Jeremy handed Ava the cup, “pour it now. It''s going to get

Smiling faintly, Jeremy pulled the ring from the ice cream. He cleaned it with a special cloth then stood up. The waiter swiftly
moved his chair away. Then, in front of Ava, he bent his knees.

Ava sighed heavily. As best she could, she controlled herself not to
cry.
“Then how about this one?” She showed Jeremy her ring finger. “I

Tilting her head to one side, Ava put her hand into Jeremy''s begging palm. “Then just stack them. Let them blend together.”
Sighing in amusement, Jeremy squeezed her fingers. His head hung low, thinking about how lucky he was to hold that hand.
“When Kara said that a proposal was just a formality, it pped me hard. | realized that every woman deserves an impressive
proposal because they are very valuable, especially you.”
Jeremy looked up, letting Ava soak in the sincerity in his eyes.
