“Louis is naughty. Does he think I''m an adult? I''m not even as old as Brandon,” Emily grumbled in annoyance.

Diana''s forehead grew wrinkled. “Why do you feel indebted to him? If he hadn''t done that, you would have been saved from a
wrong marriage.”
“Frank has saved me from embarrassment, Grandma. Imagine if Finnic suddenly canceled the wedding. Where would | put my
face? We were on a cruise ship. | couldn''t possibly throw myself into the sea to get away from people.”

“Are Frank and Finnic good friends?” Diana said, still with knitted eyebrows.

“And why did he care about your marriage? You said you just met at that time,” Diana continued, adding to the burden on
