Chapter 156 A New Life
Chapter 156 A New Life
Rowan''s eyes lit up as he saw his great-grandson''s messy writing. "Yes. He has worked hard to make
this. I have to make it happen.”
Smiling, Rowan studied each page. asionally, heughed at spelling errors or images next to the
writing. When he arrived at the list addressed to him, his eyes sharpened.
“Visit the chocte factory, go to the toy store, have a pic in the park, tour the Savior, take Louis and
Emily to school.”
Rowan''s warmughter returned to the air.
"Look how excited they are to spend time with me. I''m so excited too, Sean. I''m going to make it all
happen then they can expand the list. My life is so much more colorful with them!"
With that enthusiasm, Rowan began to organize his new life. He could already imagine how happy it
would be to enjoy the rest of his life with the sound of his great-grandchildren''sughter.

Louis smiled brightly when he found the chair designed especially for him. He liked it so much. It was
perfect for the table at the cafeteria in the Savior office. "Wow, I think this cafeteria is much cooler than
the one in the library."
"Yes, the menu is also more varied. I think the food here will be better. Am I right, Uncle?" Emily blinked
at Jeremy.
Jeremy''s heart warmed when he heard the call. The tension from the eyes of the people around him
was now subdued. "I think you should try it yourself, Young Lady."
"Yeah, I really can''t wait to try it. Look! Our food is here!" Emily''s forefinger pointed.
Louis immediately turned around. A trolley came. There were lots of tes on it.
"Are these all your orders?"
Louis gasped as Kara suddenly sat next to him. Seeing his mother, he smiled awkwardly. "Mommy? I
think you have a meeting with Daddy."
"This is your first time eating here. Of course Mommy can''t miss it. Daddy wille. So," she looked at
the dishes on the table, "who ordered this much?"
Jeremy pursed his lips, while Emily chuckled. The frown on Louis’ face never failed to amuse her. "I
only order sd, while Uncle wants a chicken steak. Louis has the rest." She was ready to see her
brother scolded.
"Louis, didn''t we agree not to waste food? You should order what you need."
The boy''s back straightened. His eyes widened. "Sorry, Mommy. I''ve tried to sort it out. But, everything
looks delicious. I was also surprised to see this much fooding."

Kara looked at Louis more intensely. There was no sound, but the boy shrank. It made Emilyugh.
"See? I reminded you, but you didn''t hear."
Louis pursed his lips, warning his sister. A secondter, he put on a pitiful look in front of his mother.
"But, Mommy, I promise no food will be wasted. I''ve worked hard earlier. My brain and stomach need
nourishment. I can finish all this."
"You can’t make it a reason, Louis," Emily said with a faint smile. "I worked hard too, but I only ordered
one menu."
Louis knitted his eyebrows again. "Really? What did you do this morning?"
"I could have just started designing straight away. But I thought the results would be optimal if I learned
the basic theory first. So, I studied everything about making clothes. My brain feels full." Emily held her
head with her two cute little hands.
Before the toddlers'' argument heated up, Kara intervened. "Okay, since you two have worked hard, you
can eat as much as you like. But, set aside two tes for Daddy and Mommy."
Instead of feeling relieved, Louis puffed out his cheeks. "But Mommy, can I try one spoonful of Mommy
and Daddy''s food? I''m curious."
"You can still taste it tomorrow, Louis. If you buy it all today, you''ll get bored." Emily''s tone was wise.
"No, Emily. I have to taste it first so that I know what’s to orderter."
While Kara sighed, Jeremy smiled. The atmosphere felt new and it tickled his heart.
Unbeknownst to him, someone behind the ss door also felt the same way. His eyes were teary and
hisughter was faint.
"Don''t they look great? The future leader of the Saviors." Rowan nodded in satisfaction. The driver
standing next to him nodded, not knowing how to respond.
"Look at those tiny clothes .... They fit so well. My great-grandchildren are destined to be top
businessmen."
While putting his hands behind his waist, Rowan kept watching. His chest was tight with a strange
feeling. Something seemed stuck in his throat. “I have to make peace with them soon,” he muttered,
inaudibly.
"What do you need to do here, Grandpa?"
Hearing that voice, the emotion instantly disappeared. Straightening his shoulders, Rowan turned
around. "Why? Am I not allowed to visit my own grandson''spany?"
"Just curious. It''s unusual for you toe without Sean and bodyguards.” Frank raised an eyebrow.
Rowan pressed his lips with his chin. He did not want to look softened. "I heard those little creatures
were appointed as employees. They even have their own ID cards. I want to make sure that Savior is
still safe. They''re not causing amotion, right?"
Frank narrowed his eyes. He knew very well that statement did note from the heart. "Do youe
to apologize?"
Rowan''s eyebrows rose. However, a secondter, he snorted out augh. "Apologize? For what? Only
losers apologize. I''m not. I''ve never regretted what I''ve done."
"You call me a coward?" he said, raising his eyebrows.
Frank shook his head weakly. "I don''t want to argue, Grandpa. We’d better have lunch peacefully. Do
you want to join us?"
Rowan''s eyes almost widened. He wondered, had Frank been behind him for a long time? Was his
murmur heard by him earlier?
Seeing Rowan''s shoulders rose and fell, Frank smiled slightly. "If you don''t want to join us now, it''s
okay. You can do it tonight. Let’s have dinner at my mansion. Invite Sean."
Frank nced at the man beside his grandfather. "Your driver too."
Peter blinked in disbelief. His mouth opened, wanting to thank you. However, seeing his boss frozen,
he didn''t dare.
"Peter, let''s go!" Rowan eximed in a trembling voice. He did intend to bend his knees in front of
Frank, Jeremy, the twins ..., but not now.
Frank patted Rowan''s arm before walking into the cafeteria. His smile secretly widened. After all this
time, he finally saw changes in his grandfather.
"Peter." Rowan swallowed hard. He didn''t turn his head at all, afraid that his tears would be seen. "Let''s
go shopping."
The driver stared wide eyed. "Shopping? Where, Sir?"
"Let’s start from a toddler clothing store."
