    95. Getting Close


    “What are you doing here?” Frank asked softly.


    Kara’s lips pursed. After returning her gaze towards the garden, she asked back, “Are the twins


    asleep?”


    “Yes.” Silently, Frank took the seat next to her. “Emily didn’t want to


    book to Louis too even though I had finished a book of fairy tales in


    her room.”


    Kara nced thinly. “Now they sleep together?”


    “No. I moved Emily after she fell asleep.”


    Kara jerked an eyebrow. Hugging herself, she grumbled, “You must be happy. You’ve seeded in


    snatching my children’s attention.”


    The curve of Frank’s lips widened. It was the first time he saw Kara’s childish side like that. “You think I

    “Thanks to you,” Frank continued, “I realized that price isn’t only about numbers. Children never worry

    care of my mother’s health. You also offered us your house for shelter.”
