Gloria hesitated for a few minutes. Jonathan would not lie. What he said must be true.
After hesitating for a moment, Gloria spoke gently.
“Let’s meet somewhere quiet, with fewer people.”
“Where do you prefer?” Jonathan’s voice sounded particrly gentle and soft, revealing his eagerness
to cooperate with Gloria.
Gloria thought for a moment and then named the address casually. Jonathan had no objection to her
proposal. Then they hung up the phone and hurried to the ce Gloria designated.

“Help yourself and get a seat.” Gloria said and sat on the center sofa, while Jonathan chose to take the
side seat.
His eyes fell on Gloria. Seeing her quiet, calm little face, he smiled faintly.
“If you chose me, you would never feel so much pressure like you did him.”
