    Chapter 826 Gloria’s Gone


    Jordy’s cold eyes darted towards the bed!


    The bed was made, and there was no sign of Gloria. Jordy looked towards the bathroom but found the


    door wide open. She was not there!


    Jordy’s face hardened. He pulled out his phone and called Gloria, only to hear a female voice notifying


    him that the phone was off.


    Jordy’s face turned graver. He dashed out the door to George’s room.


    Jordy rang the doorbell and kept knocking on the door. George shouted irritably, “Who the hell is it?


    Stop thumping my door!”


    George never thought it was Jordy. Again came the pounding. Louder. More urgent. George irritably


    flung the door open.


    He saw Jordy standing in the doorway when he was about to curse.


    George was dumbstruck. “What the heck! It’s you. What’s your problem? You kept thumping my door.”


    “Where’s Nydia?”


    George scowled at him and said warily, “Are you here to ask her to look after Gloria this early


    morning?”


    “Nydia isn’t up yet?”

    Jordy frowned and looked unconvinced. “Gloria’s gone. Where’s Nydia?”


    George sensed something wrong and immediately went to Nydia’s room.


    It really annoyed George when Jordy kept thumping the door. However, George was now banging on

    “Nydia, are you up?”

    Nydia was also irritated when Jordy banged on the door just now. Now George began to batter at the

    Her voice sounded raspy and sharp for she was just awakened by noises.

    Jordy but didn’t say a word. The look in his eyes said it all.


    Jordy came straight up and said in a low voice, “Gloria’s gone. Her phone’s off.”


    The bad news sent Nydia wide awake. She rolled out of bed and opened the door without freshening


    Her hair was loose and disheveled. George’s face dropped when he saw her in her pajamas in front of


    Jordy.


    Nydia neither minded what George thought of her nor even looked at him. Instead, she looked at


    Jordy’s worried face and asked anxiously, “What do you mean Gloria’s gone?”


    Jordy’s heavy brows knitted together. “Did she say anything to you yesterday?”


    “No! Where did she go?” Nydia scratched her hair irritably and then got her phone, only to find a


    WhatsApp message.


    It was from Gloria.


    “She left in the middle of the night!” screamed Nydia.


    Gloria bought a ne ticket!


    George was shocked. “What? She’s gone?”


    Just as Nydia said this, Jordy rushed in and grabbed her phone.


    Nydia’s face changed. Before she could say anything, Jordy already read the message.


    It read, “Honey, something’se up and I need to go back. No worries. I’m fine.”


    It was a message to Nydia, and Jordy was not mentioned in it. And Gloria didn’t bring up any conflicts


    between them. All this made Jordy flustered.
