Chapter 1735

    Chapter 1735

    In the room upstairs.

Grace did not search for any clothes when she entered. Instead, she sat by the window with her

arms folded around herself waiting for Heinz to arrive.

Heinz pushed the door open and found his wife sitting on the bed. She looked rather guilty.

He stood by the door and took a silent breath. "Honey, aren''t you supposed to find me some

    clothes?"

Grace did not speak and just looked at him. Her eyes were ring daggers at Heinz.

A faint smile formed on Heinz''s lips.

He''d heard the butler''s conversation with the kids when he went upstairs earlier.

    Grace had tricked the kids.

It was rare for her to be in a mood to joke with them.

s, he had unknowingly ruined Grace''s n, and that was probably why she was mad now.

After Heinz closed the door, he walked toward

Grace. He looked at her and asked with a smile, "Are you mad?"

Grace shook her head and kept her eyes on him. "Go and wash your hands."

Heinz nodded. "Give me a few minutes, okay? I''ll make it up to you."

    Grace ignored Heinz.

Heinz hurried to the bathroom and took a quick shower. When he came out wrapped in a towel, he

found his wife still sitting on the edge of the bed.

Heinz cleansed himself thoroughly before he dared to touch his pregnant wife. He raised Grace''s

chin to kiss her, and he said, "Sorry, I didn''t know you were ying a trick on the kids. I''ll make it up

    to you, okay?"

"Hmph, you would sacrifice everything for the sake of your dignity. I tried to signal you, but you

pretended not to see it." Grace''s tone was usatory.

"Honey, you can''t just trample on a man''s dignity. You told the kids that I ate so much of those

supplements and made me look impotent," Heinz replied.

Grace couldn''t help but want tough when she heard this.

However, she held it back and looked at Heinz seriously. She pushed his hand away and looked at

the scantily d Heinz. He had maintained his physique well, and he was lean and muscr.

She looked at him and said, "Go find your clothes. I won''t give them to you. Don''t catch a cold and

    spread it to me."

Heinz paused before he said, "I''ll go get some clothes now. Wait for me."

He was afraid he''d catch a cold and spread it to his wife. Grace was pregnant, and she couldn''t

    afford to get sick.

Heinz changed his clothes and came back to sit down in front of his wife. He reached out to hold

her hand and said, "When did you be so childish? This isn''t your style."

Grace replied seriously, "What do you mean by childish? I was just joking."

"Is there a difference?" Heinz asked with great interest. His voice rose an octave, and he seemed to

    be in a good mood.

"Of course there''s a difference. There''s a big difference," Grace replied.

"All right, then tell me what''s the difference, honey. At least give me a hint." Heinz raised his

    eyebrow and smiled teasingly.

Grace rolled her eyes at him and said, "First of all, your son is already an adult, not a child.

Secondly, ying tricks and joking are two different things.

ying a trick is malicious in itself, and joking is harmless. Furthermore, I was just helping Maria

and Celeste find out the depth of Liam and Gary''s feelings towards them."

"It''s just a joke. What''s the fuss? It''s fine if you don''t want to y along, but you totally ruined my

    n."

"Now, I look like a fool to the kids. I was in a good mood, and my n was about to seed until

    you came home."

Grace became even more unhappy with Heinz when she listed all that happened earlier.

Heinz softened at his wife''s annoyed look.

He reached out to stroke her face and said lovingly, "Well, I''m sorry. I didn''t think it through." "Your

apology isn''t sincere at all. You knew that you had to apologize since just now because I already

    tried to signal you."

"s, you still ruined my n to preserve your so-called dignity. I''m not ready to forgive you even if

you apologize. This is a matter of principle."

Heinz was rather exasperated, and a faint smile appeared on his lips. "Then, do I have to kneel

    down?"

Grace rolled her eyes and said, "You just want to kneel when no one is around. Then, will you kneel

    in front of the kids?"

Heinz raised his eyebrows. This was just between them. If he did it in front of his children, he would

    be very ashamed

Grace understood what he was thinking instantly. "Well, nothing is more important than your ego.

Fine, I already know what kind of person you are."

Heinz didn''t know what to do with his wife''s disdain. He went forward and kissed Grace on the

cheek. "I''m not angry anymore. You understand me, and the kids know that it''s beef tendon now

    from the butler."

Grace paused, and she was a little disappointed. "Ah, the show''s over so quickly?"

"Don''t drag it out for too long. Liam and Gary would be traumatised if they believed that they

actually ate it." Heinz''s eyes were filled with humor, and he knew that Grace was not truly angry with

him. Perhaps she was bored after she arrived in London, and being cooped up only added to that.

Perhaps ying a trick on the kids was the only fun she had. It was interesting to see the usually

    arrogant Gary being tricked.

Grace replied, "I don''t think they have any general knowledge at all. They believed me when I said it

was bull p*nis. Are they dumb?"

"You can''t me them. They''re neither butchers nor cooks. How would they know what a bull p*nis

looks like?" Heinz defended Gary and Liam.

Then, Grace turned her head and looked at Heinz. Her eyes met her husband''s.

She pursed her lips and said, "Well, what should I do now? Should I go downstairs and apologize?"

"No." Heinz shook his head. "You never need to apologize."

"Forget it. I''m not as arrogant and egoistic as you are. I''m hungry, so I''ll be heading downstairs to

eat. There''s nothing wrong with apologizing." Grace stood up as she spoke.

Heinz smiled and stood up as well, holding his wife''s hand. "I''ll go with you."

"You''re a horrible actor, and you just ruined my n. I''ll face the kids alone." Grace pped Heinz''s

    hand away.

    After that, Grace walked away.

However, Heinz followed her. "Why are we still fighting? Isn''t that all in the past?"

"It is, but it makes me unhappy to think about it," Grace stopped at the door. "Right, how is Cindy

    doing?"

It was only now that she remembered to ask about this.

Heinz thought for a moment and said, "Miserable."

Grace felt that Cindy''s face must have been irreparably ruined.

"You saw her, but did she see you?"

"Yeah." Heinz nodded. "I spoke to her as well. She was nearly killed the other day, but the attacker

    didn''t finish the job."

"What did you guys talk about?" asked Grace.

Heinz smiled and said, "What else? Her words are meaningless."

"Did she say that she loves you?" Grace asked tentatively.

Heinz was taken aback as he looked at Grace. However, his eyes were full of amusement.

Grace pursed her lips and said, "So, she did really say that."

Heinz said, "She did confess her feelings to me. Doesn''t that happen every time we meet?"

"You''re right." Grace said, "What about you? Did you feel any pity for her?"

    "No, I didn''t."

"That''s sad. Cindy has met with a lot of misfortune. I was wondering if you would have a future with

her if you didn''t catch me taking photos of you."
