    happen to Master Gary? Is he okay?" Pedro asked in surprise.


    Celeste''s heart tightened at that. When she heard that Heinz already had everything nned, she

    It seemed that Uncle Heinz was very concerned about Gary''s health as well. He had already been

    Celeste swept her gaze over the garden in front of them and answered with a nod, "Yes, that seems


    to be the case. We have never taken a walk together like this before. It''s nice, isn''t it?"


    Gary lowered his head to look her in the eyes. He beamed widely.


    His smile was gentle and warm.


    Gary and Celeste strolled around the garden for an hour.


    Later that night, while Gary was taking a shower, Celeste called her professor over the phone.


    "Mr. Yohan, I have something to discuss with you."


    "What is it?"


    "I want to apply for the long- term exchange programme to Boston."


    "Why? Are you dissatisfied with my teaching?" Mr. Yohan asked in surprise.


    "No, it''s not that. I want to apply because of personal reasons. I really have nothing against you. In


    fact, I think you''re an amazing teacher. I feel honored to be your student, but I have my own


    reasons for wanting to study in Boston."


    "What happens once I agree to this?"


    "I''m afraid that I''ll have to drop out. I''ll have to start over again at another university in Boston.

    When do you want to leave?"


    "Preferably in two weeks'' time," Celeste answered.

    After Celeste hung up the phone, she took a deep breath. She thought that she had made the right
