    Chapter 1669

Sinir twitched his lips awkwardly. "Don''t say that. We''re not that bad, are we?"

"Sinir, is it that hard to be honest?"

Sinir''s tone was cold as he replied, "Fine. In fact, I''ve never regretted it, and frankly I''ve never

had any feelings for you. You have nothing going on for you except your prettiness. I''ve tried my

best to help you all these years for the sake of old times, and I''ve never mistreated you in terms of

your career. Don''t pity yourself. You''ve actually earned a lot over the years."

Cindyughed as she heard that. Then, she said, "Yeah, I indeed earned a lot. You''re not wrong

    about that."

Then, she turned to Monica and said, "Monica, you do love Sinir, don''t you? You love him more

than you love yourself. You''ve never loved Michael, have you?"

Monica was obviously unwilling to answer the question in front of Michael and she was

    embarrassed.

    She still considered Michael''s feelings.

Michael narrowed his eyes and red at Monica.

Monica twitched her lips awkwardly name replied, "That''s not true. I have feelings for Michael, and I

    love him."

    Sinir looked at Monica.

    Then, Monica''s expression stiffened.

Cindy smiled and said, "Sinir, did you hear that? Even Monica doesn''t love you. She loves

    Michael instead."

Sinir smiled bitterly. "What is love? I don''t need love. What I want now is to see my daughter.

    Where is she?"

"She''s right here in London. Please me, and I''ll take you to see her when I''m happy. Oh yes, I forgot

about it. I want to tell you that she still carries myst name too," Cindy replied.

Sinir''s suppressed his feelings as he gritted his teeth at Cindy''s arrogant expression. "It doesn''t

    matter whatst name she has."

"What matters is that she''s your daughter, isn''t it?" Cindy asked while she sneered.

Sinir nodded. "Yeah, that''s way more important."

Cindy asked, "Okay, so? What are you going to do after you reunite with her?"

Sinir said, "We''ll talk about itter. There''s no rush for all that." "Are you willing to be inws with

the Jones family after you reunite with her?" Cindy raised her voice suddenly as she questioned

    Sinir.

They were all stunned as they looked at Sinir with doubts in their eyes.

Monica shifted her gaze, but there was a hint of joy in them.

s, Cindy ruthlessly dashed the glee in Monica''s eyes. "Stop your delusions. Do you think you can

make aeback? So, what if you became iws with Heinz? Do you think he would even set his

    eyes on you?"

"Why do you say that, Cindy?" Monica replied. "If Sinir really acknowledged Celeste as his

daughter and became Heinz''s inw, then there''s hope for us still."

Cindy chuckled and stared at Monica. "Really? Do you think I''ll let that happen?"

Monica replied, "Don''t be like this, Cindy. We''ve all buried the hatchet here, so we can start afresh.

Don''t dwell in the past. We may have a chance to start again if we n this right."

Cindy looked at Michael and said, "Michael, do you see that? Your wife is still having delusions and

wishing to have a rtionship with Sinir, coupling it with benefits. What do you think?"

Michael snorted and said, "It doesn''t matter to me. Monica will never get any assets from me

anyway, and I won''t be deceived by her any longer. If she wants to be with Sinir, that''s on her. I

don''t care anymore. I have money now, so I can have any woman I want."

Cindy nodded and agreed with Michael. "You''re right, Michael. You surely can find a young woman

and even start a family. That would be a perfect life."

"With Sinir being so agitated earlier, I think this n might work." Michael smiled.

"Michael, we''re still married. We haven''t divorced. You can''t marry someone else," Monica retorted

    sternly.

"Ah, it seems like you have no idea. I could just change my identity. I won''t marry someone else as

Michael Grayson. Once I change my name, I can start a new family free of any attachments to you."

Monica was suddenly speechless, drowned in her anger and she looked at him in disbelief.

He wouldn''t give Monica any money.

Michael had decided to leave her penniless. Ironically, that was her own money she earned.

"Michael, those assets belong to you and me. I won''t object to you marrying someone else, but you

have to give half the money back to me." Monica was still wishfully thinking of getting her half of the

    money that she earned back.

s, it seemed like she couldn''t get what she wanted.

Michael chuckled. "Don''t even dream of it. You wouldn''t get it. I wouldn''t mind it at all even if you

want to take me to court. Up to you."

Monica had never seen Michael being so shameless.

Sinir had already gotten up and began to put on his clothes.

He quickly got dressed and sat on the sofa. Looking at the three of them, Monica seemed to be at

    her wit''s end.

Then, Sinir called out, "Monica,e here."

Monica looked back at him. She was stunned and hesitated for a moment before she walked over.

Sinir said, "How long have you known about my daughter''s existence?"

"She knew it from the very beginning." Cindy''s smile was very malicious.

"Really?" Sinir stared into Monica''s eyes.

Monica had no choice but to nod. "Yes, I knew it from the start."

"Monica, why didn''t you tell me?" Sinir reprimanded her.

Monica twitched her lips and revealed a bitter smile. "That''s because you chose Suanne, but you

also didn''t tell me either. So, why should I tell you? I am not your dog whoes and goes at your

beck and call. Over the years, I feel like I have not done anything in betraying you."

"If that''s the case, then you may leave," Sinir said coldly. "Leave my home. Cindy, Michael, you

    can go too."

He pointed at the direction of the door.

Cindy and Michael looked at each other, and they both looked at Monica who had gone pale.

Monica was frightened as she was then being asked to leave the house.

She didn''t have that much money. If she left and if Michael refused to give her any money, then she

would be homeless and would need help from others. She might even have trouble returning home.

She looked at Sinir with silent pleading in her eyes.

    Sinir nced at her.

Cindy and Michael were busy dressing themselves, and they left without sparing Monica another

    nce.

However, Monica did not leave and she kept her eyes on Sinir.

Sinir said coldly, "Why are you still here?"

Monica shook her head. "There''s nowhere I can go. Sinir, we''ve been together for decades. I

admit that I hate you, but deep down I still love you. You''re the love of my life."

"Monica, have you lost your memory? You admitted that you loved Michael just now, so why are you

going back on your words once they left? You''re confusing me and you''re really getting me

    stunned."

Monica pursed her lips and said, "I was just trying to calm Michael down. I said that only to try and

get my money back. Those are the money that I have earned after working so hard all these years.

If it''s not because of that, I wouldn''t have said it."

"Then does that mean I can also be sure that you''re only saying that you''re in love with me now

because you''re afraid of me abandoning you? Are just afraid of having to end up homeless?

Frankly, you''re just taking advantage of me." Sinir''s tone was full of mockery.

"No." Monica immediately shook her head and said firmly, "I really love you. Unfortunately, you''re

too much of a yboy. However, even so, I have never stopped loving you."

Sinir sneered at Monica. "Your love ispletely worthless to me, I don''t need any of it.

Well, I can keep you here, but I want information on my daughter. Since you know about her, then

    hand it all to me."

Monica smiled once she heard that. "Okay, I have information on Celeste. I''ll have my old assistant

sort it out right away and get it to you."

Sinir nodded, looking satisfied. "All right, help me up."

Monica immediately walked over and helped him upstairs.

Sinir was injured and he walked very slowly. It felt like knives twisting in him with every step he

took, and he almostpletely relied on Monica to move while she supported his weight.

"Michael and Cindy are very cold- blooded, and they won''t ally with us," Sinir spoke as he

walked. "If you don''t want to be homeless, then do as I say in the future. If not, you can just get out."

Monica became anxious right away at Sinir''s words. She nodded and said, "I got it. Hearing what

he said, I know that Michael won''t give me my money, and there''s no hope for reconciliation

    between us anymore."
