Chapter 1640
"Cindy White!" Sinir roared, interrupting her.
Cindy smiled and said, "Oh, what''s wrong? You''re afraid that I''ll mention what you did before, aren''t
you?"
"Shut up," he hissed, looking very embarrassed.
Monica was also surprised, but she quickly came back to her senses. She looked at Cindy and said
in a low voice, "You knew about it?"
"Of course," Cindy replied with a smirk. "I know all about it. You lost your virginity to Sinir, and so
did I. How lucky of him! Both of us were left in the dust when he married someone else, and here
we are ving away for hispany."
Sinir cleared his throat. "All right, let''s stop talking about the past. The question is, what should
we do now?"
Cindy picked up her wine ss and looked at them as she said calmly. "I can''t just go along with
whatever you n."
"What do you want?" he asked.
"Let''s just drink," she replied as she raised her wine ss in the air. "We won''t have many
opportunities to do this in the future."
Both Monica and Sinir held back their anger, and they all drank silently.
Cindy poured them more wine and said slowly, "Give me one billion dors, Sinir."
He frowned. "One billion dors? Don''t push your luck."
"I''m already leaving, so shouldn''t you give me some spending money? After all, you''ve profited
more than that off of me. You know that I''m not asking for too much."
"The money you have now is enough for you to retire," Monica interjected, seeming much calmer
than before. "Their Group is in a crisis now, and it''s still uncertain whether thepany will make
it through the crisis or not."
"I was asking Sinir, not you, Monica," Cindy scoffed. "What''s the matter? Do you think that
Their Group belongs to you now?"
"Don''t mock me, Cindy. Our friendship is over," Monica replied coldly.
"I agree. Either way, I want one billion dors and not a penny less. If not, I won''t leave the country,"
Cindy insisted.
"Cindy, let me make this clear. Whether you leave the country or not affects us all, so don''t be
shameless," Monica growled.
"You''re not going to give it to me, are you?" Cindy asked, looking at Sinir.
Sinir pursed his lips and answered, "I think that Monica''s right. Don''t do this, Cindy."
Cindy narrowed her eyes at them, her gaze piercing. "It seems like the two of you still have a
fantastic rtionship with one another. What you have going on is special indeed."
Sinir''s expression was so sour it could curdle milk.
Monica''s face was also twisted in anger.
Nevertheless, they kept drinking.
Cindy watched them drink the wine calmly.
After a while, Monica''s face became a little flushed.
Then, Sinir pulled off his suit jacket and threw it on the sofa as he was feeling warm.
Cindy looked at them and smiled calmly. She had drugged them. She knew that Sinir would
never agree to her requests.
Neither would Monica. The friendship between the three of them was over.
They no longer had amon interest, so she did not have to put on an act anymore.
"Why am I so hot?" Monica looked at Sinir, feeling a little ufortable.
Sinir nodded. "It''s a bit stuffy. I don''t feel veryfortable either."
Cindy was afraid that they would sense something amiss, so she quickly smiled and said, "Of
course you feel stuffy. It''s the guilt eating away at you. On the other hand, I''m extremely calm. I
know that I''ll be okay when the dust settles, but you won''t be. That''s why you''re feeling stuffy."
Monica frowned, livid. "Quit spouting nonsense. We don''t have time for your idle chatter."
Monica picked up the wine bottle and poured a big ss of wine for Sinir. "Sinir, drink some
more."
Sinir nodded. He picked up the wine ss and shamelessly clinked sses with Monica. His
expression showed his increasing contempt for Cindy.
Cindy smiled before she got up and went to get them another bottle of wine. "Drink up. I have a lot
of wine here. Over the years, I often drank alone in the dead of night. You''ll never understand how
lonely I felt. Oh, wait. Michael did."
Then, she opened the second bottle of wine and ced it in front of them.
Monica was astonished, surprise shing through her eyes.
"Monica, you must be wondering how I got together with Michael. It''s simple actually. He
approached me of his own ord." Cindy smiled humorlessly before continuing, "Heined to
me that you and Sinir were up to something, and you guys kept in contact over the years.
Michael was frustrated, but he knew that he was no match for you. Sleeping with me was the only
way he could get revenge."
When Monica heard that, her grip around her wine ss tightened.
Sinir narrowed his eyes at Cindy. "Michael knew?"
Cindy smirked. "Of course. He knew everything, and he hated the both of you. As for me? I pity
him."
"Pfft, he doesn''t need your pity," Monica scoffed, her shame turning into anger.
Cindy smiled and said, "Monica, why are you taking it so seriously?"
"You disgust me. I don''t believe that Michael approached you on his own!" Monica yelled.
"Of course you don''t. You''re overconfident, and you think you know best, but the sparks flying
between you and Sinir are obvious. I''m not some valley girl, you know. I''d be an idiot not to
notice it."
Cindy''s words were very contemptuous, and Monica could not help but blush.
Sinir looked at Cindy with surprise as if she were a stranger.
He was bewildered.
"Wow, Cindy, I didn''t expect you to be so smart." Sinir had no intention of mocking Cindy.
Instead, he was praising her.
Cindy chuckled. "There are a lot of smart people in this world. The three of us all think we''re smart,
but our cleverness could backfire in our faces at any time. You should know what I mean, right?"
Sinir took a deep breath and smiled. "Yeah, you''re right. Just like what''s happening now. Your
scandals are being exposed one by one, spelling the end for you."
Cindy smirked at Sinir. "You might have a streak of bad luck one day too, so don''t take too much
joy in someone else''s despair. It''s better to mind your own business."
Both Monica and Sinir were stunned. They were very agitated by her words. For a moment, they
ignored the heat rising in their bodies.
They assumed that it was because of the rage they felt from Cindy insulting them.
Monica poured more wine for herself and gulped it down.
After downing another ss of wine, she set it down on the table. Looking at Cindy, she said,
"Sinir can''t give you one billion dors. We''ll give you twenty million dors, but you''ll have to
leave the country for good."

Cindy sneered. "Do you really think you''re the boss of Their Group? You''re acting as if you''re
Sinir''s wife."
"Yup. So what?" Monica looked over at Sinir and asked, "How about it? Do you agree with me?"
"Of course." Sinir nodded. "I always agree to your proposals."
The way they unted their affection in front of Cindy annoyed her even more.
She sneered and said, "Twenty million dors is too little. Do you take me for a beggar?"
"Twenty million dors and not a penny more," Monica replied firmly in a low voice.
Cindy barked out a shortugh. "You surprise me, Monica. Okay, give me a minute. Let me make a
phone call. You two discuss and see if you''ll give me more money."
After that, Cindy stood up and took her phone with her into her room.
Meanwhile, Sinir and Monica continued drinking in the living room.
The both of them finished one entire bottle of wine without realizing it. Then, Sinir muttered, "Why
do I feel hotter by the minute? I''m tipsy, and I still feel it."
