    When Ernest came back, he saw that everything had already been bagged.


    Ernest frowned and said, "Didn''t I tell you to wait for me to pay when I get back? Why didn''t you


    wait?"


    "You can pay for the pecans in your hand, I won''t take that away from you," Leah said with a smile.


    Ernest had no choice but to put the nuts in the bag. He picked up all the bags from Leah, and


    together they walked out to their car. He refused to let her hold even a single bag.

    was sure that there was something on his mind.

    my boyfriend and I are madly in love. We''re in our honeymoon stage right now. So, I don''t think it

    and said, "How could you say that? Mr. Jones might not see me as a third wheel."

    after all. I know him well. He hates it when other people take up my time, especially when we are


    together. He much prefers spending time with me alone."


    Rowane continued to stare at Ernest. Her gaze was expectant and pitiful.
