Chapter 1419
He finally left.
Celesteid on the bed and stared at the ceiling dazedly.
Gary packed his stuff and gave Janice a call, "Pack up, we''re going back to London."
"Now?" Janice was dumbfounded.
"Yes," Gary replied.
"Can we not?" Janice begged. "My stomach hurts, and I''ll feel sick during the ride. Can we leave
tomorrow?"
"I''ve already told Celeste about it. We''re leaving now." Gary urged.
"If you are afraid to exin it to your sister, I can do it for you," Janice said.
Gary questioned her, "How are you going to exin?"
"I will just tell Celeste that we''re leaving tomorrow," Janice replied. She still didn''t want to leave and
said, "Just let me deal with it. I really got the fright of my life; I still can''t get over it, and my stomach
hurts really badly."
Gary frowned a little, "You really don''t want to go?" "I don''t," Janice replied.
"Then we''ll leave tomorrow," Gary ended the call.
He hoped things would turn for the betting if he stayed for another night. Perhaps, Celeste would
say something.
Janice gave Celeste a call.
When the phone rang, Celeste saw that it was from Janice. She frowned a little but still answered it.
"Miss Simpson," Celeste spoke weakly.
"Celeste, your brother suddenly went crazy and asked me to leave now. I''ve negotiated with him; I
won''t be leaving today." Janice said.
"Oh," Celeste paused for a while. She pursed her lips then said, "It''s alright. Are you feeling better
now?"
"I''m better now," Janice replied, "Sorry for making you worry. Your brother and I will be going back to
London tomorrow. Are youing?"
"I might have to stay for a while longer," Celeste replied. She continued, "Just go back if you wish
to. Don''t worry about me."
"We''ll take a tour before heading back to London. I still want to have a look around London for a few
days as well. The butler from your house had entertained me for a whole day. If Gary still doesn''t
want to apany me in London, I''ll find your butler then," Janice said.
"No, he won''t," Celeste said, "He cares a lot about you. He''ll keep youpany."
"I know, right?" Janice sounded a little coy, "You also think your brother really cares about me, don''t
you?"
"Yes," Celeste replied with an indescribable bitterness.
"I think so too." Janice smiled; like a shy little girl. "Your brother''s always disingenuous."
"Yeah," Celeste said with a perfunctory nod. Tears were welling up in her eyes, and her heart was
filled with bitterness.
"I should hang up now. You should get some rest early," Janice said.
"It''s okay," Celeste replied as calmly as possible. "You can look for me for anything."
"Alright, thank you, and good night," Janice said.
"Good night," Celeste ended the call.
After hanging up the phone, Celeste lost her appetitepletely. She was a little hungry earlier, but
now she doesn''t feel like eating at all.
Celeste didn''t need to eat her dinner anymore that day.
She was bored, so she opened theptop and began tranting some information.
She was still tranting at midnight.
It took Celeste the entire night to finish tranting the information Flynt sent to her. After confirming
there were no mistakes, she sent out the tranted information.

A few minutester, Celeste received a call from Flynt after she went for a toilet break.
"Celeste, did you not sleepst night?" Flynt asked.
"Flynt, I can''t believe you''re calling me at this hour." Celeste was surprised. She looked at the time
and noticed the sun hadn''t risen yet. "Have you not slept too?"
"I can hear from your tone that you didn''t restst night." Flynt said, "I didn''t sleep either; I''ve been
busy sorting out the information."
"Don''t be so harsh on yourself." Celeste sighed.
"Celeste, I didn''t give you the information for you to trante them so tirelessly. It''s not a problem if
you work on it tomorrow." Flynt said apologetically, "I''ll be upset and regret asking for your help,
seeing you work so hard."
Celeste said, "I came to Edinburgh because of my ssmates and also to take a break. I have
nothing to do anyway; might as well spare my time tranting the information." Sheforted
Flynt, "You don''t have to feel guilty. I''m more than willing toplete the work; it helps me to forget
about all the problems."
"You’vee to take a break? Is something troubling you?" Flynt raised his voice all of a sudden.
He asked worriedly, "Can you tell me about it?"
Celeste was taken aback. She smiled as she answered, "It''s something personal. Flynt, I don’t
really want to talk about it. Can we change the subject?"
Flynt didn''t know what to say for a while before he finally nodded and said, "Okay, I totally get it if
you are notfortable sharing it with me."
"I just don''t know where to start," Celeste said.
"Then don''t say anything. Go wash up and have a good sleep. Call me when you wake up. Let''s
have a meal together." Flynt said with a smile.
Celeste''s stomach started growling when she heard the word meal.
She chuckled and replied, "Okay, let''s have a meal together."
"See youter," he said.
After she hung up the phone, Celeste washed up and went to bed.
Next door, Gary''s eyes were wide open. He leaned his upper body against the bed with aptop on
hisp. A sense of profoundness shed across his eyes as he looked at the screen.
He had never felt so uneasy before.
He tapped on hisptop, and a photo of Celeste appeared.
It was a photo stored on Flynt’sputer.
Gary got it when he hacked into Flynt''sputer.
He was surprised to find Flynt using Celeste''s photo as hisptop''s wallpaper.
There were a lot of photos of Celeste saved on hisputer. Gary could tell from the angle that
they were taken secretly.
Every one of them showed a kind of natural beauty.
Whenever Celeste was at peace, one nce would be enough to feel extremely moved. She was
the kind of girl who was verydy-like and beautiful.
It was what he liked about her.
Knowing these photos were secretly taken by a man, and worst yet, saved as wallpaper on his
computer, Gary felt very ufortable. That strong uneasiness made him unable to think.
He had never felt so desperate ever in his life, nor had he felt so uneasy and afraid of losing her.
Was Celeste really going to be taken by another man?
With gentleness, his finger moved across Celeste'' s face in the photo. His eyes were filled with
strong emotions.
His mind went nk, and his eyes lost sight the moment he thought about his departure and that
Celeste might fall in love with another man.
There was only one thing in his mind.
No.
He wouldn''t allow it.
He would never allow his girl to be with another man.
But now, he could not rush things anymore.
If he did, Celeste would only find him even more repulsive.
Gary closed his eyes and decided to take a rest first.
After sleeping for two to three hours, he called Janice.
"Why are you calling me so early in the morning?" Janice asked drowsily. "What'' s the matter?"
"Call Celeste and invite her to join us for breakfast. The three of us will go out and have fun." Gary
said.
"Now?" Janice was appalled.
"Yes." Gary said, "Call her now."
"Alright then." Janice ended the call. Janice listened to Gary and gave Celeste a call. However, it
didn''t get through.
Celeste''s phone had been switched off.
She was worried that she would be bothered during her sleep. Therefore, she did so.
When Janice told Gary about it, he was taken stunned as well. He got up from his bed and knocked
on Celeste''s door.
Celeste was woken up by the banging.
When she got up and opened the door, she saw Gary standing behind it. He stared at her gloomily.
"Good morning," Celeste said.
"Did you not sleep well?" He asked worriedly as he saw dark circles under her eyes.
Celeste also saw his dark circles and asked, "You stole my line."
Gary narrowed his eyes, but he was ted. She noticed his condition. Could it be said that she was
also worried about him?
Gary felt joyous in his heart at this revtion.
But he didn''t show it on the surface. He only looked at her and nodded, "I suffered from insomnia; I
only slept in the middle of the night. What about you?"
"No, I didn''t suffer from insomnia," she replied awkwardly.
"von''t you want to invite me in?" Gary asked. Seeing her still dressed in a sleeping gown."lt''s a little
cold in the morning."
"It''s the same talking here." Celeste didn''t want him in her room.
"Dear sister," Gary suddenly said.
She stiffened. Then, she turned around and said, "Come on in."
Gary''s address made her anxious instantly. Her mind was sent into a state of confusion; she let him
in just like that.
Gary followed her in.
Celeste felt the cold breeze and immediately tucked herself under the nket. "Just say whatever
you have to say. I still want to go back to sleep." Celeste said to Gary.
