The car left the parking lot quickly and soon got on the highway. Celeste could no longer see
Janice.
She didn''t know how Janice was at the moment.
If she was the one who was left in the parking lot in that way, she would probably break down
crying.

my feelings now?"

Janice was really a very cheerful person. She could move forward so optimistically and not care
about being looked down upon by others at all.

"But she''s left there alone. What if she does something stupid?" Celeste told him her concerns.

"She called me several times today, but I didn''t answer," Gary said, "I wasn''t willing to answer her

should pick her up and have a meal together, okay?"
"She''s an adult now," Gary reminded impatiently, "What could happen to her? She should have
some sort of awareness. If she''s alone, she should have the decency to not go around by herself."
After thinking for a while, Celeste still thought that if something bad were to happen to Janice, she''d
never forgive herself for the rest of her life.
"But what if something happens?" Celeste asked softly, "Will you and I be at peace in our hearts?"
Gary didn''t pay any attention to Celeste. On the contrary, he became even more determined and
dered, "She won''t get in trouble. If anything happens to her, she''ll have to be responsible for it
herself. It''ll have nothing to do with us."
Seeing that he was so persistent, Celeste said no more.
Gary didn''t go back in the end and continued bringing her around to enjoy the scenery. The sunset
that day was gorgeous, but Celeste found it dull and tasteless.
Perhaps her mood had been affected as it truly was very difficult for her to muster any shred of
happiness.

Janice is in trouble. She saw her being surrounded by a few men."
Gary was stunned. He immediately took out his phone and called Janice.
Looking at his anxious look, Celeste knew that it was not the time to feel jealous, but she still felt a
little disappointed.
Gary tried to call her, but no one picked up the phone.
"She''s not answering it," He frowned, the frustration making the veins on his forehead throb
violently. He looked quite furious as he cursed, "D*mn it, Janice. Answer my call." "Let''s go,"
Celeste stood up and took her bag. She ced down some money and left without taking a bite.
Gary stood up as well. The two of them walked out of the dining room, one behind the other.
On the way back, Gary was on the phone while driving.
Celeste was worried, "Pay attention to the road. I''ll make the calls. We''ll call the police if you still
can''t get in touch."
Gary nced at Celeste and nodded, "Alright, I''ll leave it to you."
Celeste made a phone call as soon as he put down his phone. The phone rang, but still, no one
answered.

Celeste called her several times, but none of her calls went through.
Their car sped up as they approached the hotel. Celeste did not stop Gary from slowing down. After
all, dire times called for desperate measures.
They would first find Janice and talk about itter.
The phone suddenly rang and Celeste took a look at the phone. It was a call from Ava.
"Hey, Ava."
"I found the girl," Ava said, "She''s in shock. We are going back right now."

"We''re reaching the hotel soon," Celeste replied, "Ava, please take care of her."

Soon, they arrived at the hotel.
In the lobby on the first floor of the hotel, they saw Ava and Janice.
Janice''s clothes were ripped and her round shoulders were exposed. Her bag was also torn open

When Janice heard him speak, she instantly threw herself into his arms. She wrapped her arms
