Chapter 1315
Gary was leaning on his chair. A window behind him allowed light to enter his room, forming
shadows that masked his expression. This made him look somewhat oppressive, and added on a
sense of hostility to his already livid expression.
He managed to calm down a little perhaps due to Celeste''s gentle attitude and weakened stance.
"Just now, my mother told me that you are going to be my sister. Is that true?" Gary said as he
rubbed the space between his eyebrows. It seemed like he was quite conflicted over this matter.
"Sister?" Celeste was dumbfounded momentarily.
"That''s right, my younger sister," Gary stared at Celeste seriously. He put down his hand and
commented solemnly, "After my mother bes your guardian, you will be part of my family
as well as my adopted younger sister."
Confusion shed in Celeste''s eyes.
She knew exactly what that meant.
Suddenly, she was nervous.
Gary noticed the change in her mood and asked,
"Are you not aware of this?"
"No," Celeste shook her head subconsciously and tried to deny it. However, she pursed her lips
under Gary''s sharp gaze.
Her teeth had sunk into her lips, turning them a deep crimson that instantly attracted the gaze of
others.
Gary was finally satisfied when he saw how conflicted she was. He smiled and uttered casually,
"There''s no need to be conflicted. It''s not too bad to be my sister."
"What?" Celeste stared at him nkly and didn''t understand what he meant.
"Why don''t you try calling me your big brother?" Gary had azy expression stered on his face
and seemed much more confident than before. He seemed to have a well thought out n.
Celeste was hesitant. She couldn''t bring herself to call him that yet.
"Hurry up," Gary continued to tease her.
Celeste shook her head, her cheeks scarlet from being embarrassed, "I don''t want to. I won''t
address you that way."
"It seems like you are eager to have another rtionship with me," Gary chuckled, "Fine by me, I''m
not someone who will follow the rules anyways. Even though you are rightfully my sister, when the
time is right, I can make you other than my sister."
He was doing it on purpose.
Celeste''s eyes were full of confusion. Every word he said had made her heart skip a beat. She
wanted to flee, but she couldn''t help but be charmed by him.
"Gary," Celeste called out softly.
"My dear sister Celeste," Gary suddenly changed the way he addressed her, "You have to
remember that since my mother is your guardian, it would be impolite of you not to address me
more intimately."
Celeste was dumbfounded. When she saw Gary''s teasing smirk, some logic finally returned to her
brain. She questioned him back, "Then shall I also address Ernest as my brother?"
Gary frowned when he heard that and refuted, "Of course not. You''ll be his future sister-inw."
Hearing that made Celeste''s heart skip a beat.
Her face was so flushed that the blush almost reached her ears.
"W-what nonsense are you talking about?"
"I''m not speaking nonsense," Gary stared at the shy girl in front of him deeply and was serious.
Celeste felt as though there was arge boulder sitting on her chest. She found it hard to breathe.
There was no way he could be even more direct than this.
Celeste blushed, but she was secretly looking forward to it.
The moment she spoke, her face grew even redder, "W-we are still young. How do you know that I''ll
choose to be your significant other?"
"I know although you don''t," Gary told her so solemnly, "So, I won''t give you the chance to run
away."
Celeste looked at him nkly.
Gary''s eyes shed with determination. In a solemn tone, he said, "You won''t be able to escape
from me. Just wait. I''ll make you my woman."
Celeste froze.
The fact that she was going to be a woman felt so distant.
"Alright, there''s something I need to tell you," Gary was suddenly solemn.
"What?" Celeste noticed his sudden change in mood. She didn''t know how to respond and kept
nodding, "What do you want to say?"
"Since my mother is so determined in this matter, I also will be straightforward with you."
Celeste felt her emotions stirring, "Is there going to be a bloody battle?" "Your aunt is not going to
give in so easily."
"I know."
"Are you prepared?"
Celeste nodded hesitantly. She wanted to say something but stopped on second thought.
"Do you still have something to say?"
"Well, she has raised me for so many years. I don''t want things to turn ugly for us. I just want to
continue my studies," Celeste told Gary her concerns. There was a need to her to find someone to
talk to.
"Of course," Gary nodded, "It''s wishful thinking though."
"Do you think things will turn ugly for us?" Celeste looked up, and there was visible worry on her
face.
Gary stopped what he was about to say.
"No," He changed his statement andforted her with a smile, "Don''t worry."
Hearing what he said, Celeste''s expression gradually rxed.
"I don''t wish to be on bad terms with her," Celeste admitted, "I also don''t want to be an ungrateful
person."
"You''re not that kind of person," Gary concluded once more, "Don''t worry. Heinz and Grace will work
together, and they will be able to be your guardian sessfully."
"Alright."
After hearing Gary''sforting words, Celeste''s worries were finally dissipated. She nodded and
shed him a sweet smile.
Soon, they ended the call.
Gary didn''t waste his time either. The minute the call ended, he switched on hisputer and
looked up Cindy''s itinerary. He quickly found that Cindy was currently stationed in London, and he
even found out which hotel she was living in.
All of these were very simple for someone who was an expert inputers.
In fact, he even realized that Cindy had just purchased a vi in London that was right next to the
vi Ernest and Maria were living in.
When he saw this, he frowned.
Why did this woman buy a vi so quickly?
"Gary? Gary."
Lowell''s voice was suddenly heard from the door.
"What is it?" Gary looked up from the screen.
Lowell opened the door and walked in.
"Your dad called me and scolded me. He also arranged for a doctor to treat you. He said that the
doctor will arrive for a consultation with you in half an hour."
"He really is a busybody," Gary immediately shot him a look of disgust, "I''m busy. Heinz is just trying
to stir up trouble for others."
"I am the person at fault if you don''t consult the doctor," Lowell put on a pitiful expression.
Gary nced at him and shivered out of sheer distaste, "Get lost. Don''t look at me like that"
"It''s true that you need to see a doctor," Lowell insisted, "As your uncle, I really think that you have a
bad cough."
"Fine," Gary was impatient, "Since we''ve already made an appointment, then I''ll let the doctor do a
checkup on me."
"Great, make some preparations forter," Lowell said and went out.
"Lowell," Just then, Gary stopped him.
"What?" Lowell looked at him suspiciously and asked, "Is there a problem with that? Don''t turn
down the appointment and torture yourself again, okay?"

"That''s not it," Gary asked tentatively, "I''d like to ask you a question."
"Go ahead."
As long as it wasn''t self-abuse by not seeing a doctor, everything else was negotiable.
"Picture this. A woman just spends a lot of money to buy an extremely expensive vi abroad. She
has quite a high ie, but not enough that she can just buy houses as she wishes. What do you
think about this situation?"
"Is she going to live there for a long time?" Lowell asked.
"It''s abroad, so she''s definitely not staying there permanently, "Gary continued, "Her job doesn''t
require her to stay abroad and the value of that house is not going to increase either. Plus, she has
to pay a ton of taxes."
"She must have a purpose then," Lowell thought for a moment and said, "Otherwise, she must be
out of her mind."
"There is a man who she has admired for a very long time staying next door asionally."
"That''s it!"
Lowell pped his hands and said firmly, "She likes the man for a long time, so even if the chances
are slim, she bought the house to create chances for them to meet and possibly further their
rtionship."
Gary''s face instantly sank. His voice was steely and livid, "How dare she." "What the hell!" Lowell
was startled, "Who are you talking about?"
It had to be something serious to be able to anger Gary.
"Run along and mind your own business," Gary didn''t want to reveal anything else.
"Gary, I am your uncle. Can''t you confide in me if you have problems?"
"I can handle it."
"Don''t tell me... The woman who bought the house just to live closer to the man she admires is
rted to your father?" Lowell thought carefully and found that something was odd.
Gary furrowed his brows and narrowed his eyes, "You''re right. She is Heinz''s admirer."
"Who is it?" Lowell tensed up immediately, "What does she want to do? To further her rtionship
with him?"
"She''s an actress," Gary uttered coldly, "She also needs to have the capability to attract him. Now
that this has happened, I''ll show her what it feels like to back down."
