Chapter 1228
"Don''tfort me," Heinz stared at his favorite daughter and felt a little helpless. He was a little
reluctant thinking that she would eventually get married off to some weird stranger, "You are going
to marry a man and when that happens, you are going to leave my side."
Sylvia had a sweet smile on her face as she giggled, "Will I find someone as handsome as daddy?"
"We will know when the timees," Heinz nced at Grace and sighed, "She is going to get
married eventually."
"Isn''t it normal for her to get married?" Grace was speechless, "Wouldn''t you get even more worried
if she doesn''t get married?"
Heinz was refuted and could only stare at his wife. Finally, he said, "You''re right, dear. But I can''t
bear to part with my child."
"Was it because your dad was too indifferent to you and Lowell that you want to actpletely
opposite of your dad now? You want the entire Jones family to feel your warmth and how much you
care forthem?"
"That makes sense. Someone should care for them, right?" Heinz agreed.
"Oh, in that case you guys can continue," Grace did not want to bother with her husband''s
unreasonable pestering anymore. Despite being a man, he constantly wanted to lock his children at
home. She was totally speechless about this.
"Mommy, let''s chat together," Sylvia hugged Heinz''s arm and shouted at her, "Daddy is still most
clingy to Mommy."
"Your father is really embarrassing," Grace smirked and turned to leave. Although that was what
she said, she was clearly aware that he had been kind to her all the time.
They had been married for eleven years, and he was still so in love with her. It was as if it was their
first date all over again.
She was working as a writer for a magazine. Hermione treated her well and didn''t have any
ridiculous requests for her.
Heinz also didn''t obstruct her from doing what she liked. He would send her to work every day and
also send her some flowers from time to time. On some days, they would go on dates and or on a
vacation together.
Most importantly, they were still so in love with each other. Their rtionship was just like before.
Although they were a little older, they were a really sweet couple.
She was content.
Grace once again felt that God was fair. The first half of her life was miserable but the second half
of her life was blessed. She had four children of her own and was living a happy life.
Thanks to Heinz, she didn''t have to worry about their daily needs. The children were happy and the
entire family had a peaceful life together.
Meanwhile, Little Gary and Ernest had both grown taller than their father. The youngest pair of twins
were also very obedient. They were both taller and better-looking than their peers.
This was what happiness looked like to her.
Seeing his wife leave, Heinzined to his daughter, "Sylvia, your mother also supports Gary
and Ernest. Can''t you take my side and ask them to stay in the country? The local universities are
quite outstanding too."
"The local universities are indeed quite outstanding," Sylvia nodded and stared at her father
seriously.
"Right? You think so too?" Heinz was delighted to finally have someone on his side, "It''s better to
study in local universities. Nowadays, many people arrive from abroad just to get enrolled into our
universities. Sylvia, when the timees, you should study locally too. Don''t go anywhere else."
Sylvia''s gaze flickered slyly. She nodded and agreed, "Of course I won''t leave. I want to apany
you forever. I can''t bear to leave Daddy."
She was still far from studying abroad. She could just talk to him when the time came.
"Sylvia is the best," Heinz thought of his sons who were about to leave together. There was a hint of
mncholy that shed across his handsome face as he said, "Ernest and Gary are definitely the
type who thinks that going abroad is better."
"That''s not really true," Sylvia led Heinz to a chair so he could sit down while she stood in front of
him and said, "Actually, Gary and Ernest are afraid that you are too controlling if they stay in the
country. If you are not that clingy to them, they might even consider not studying abroad."
"I''m too clingy?" Heinz was stunned and retorted, "I''m only clingy to you. I''m not overly clingy to
Ernest and Gary!"
"Dad, everyone knows that you value women more than men in our family," Sylvia put on her best
puppy dog eyes at her dad and pouted, "Ernest and Gary are just trying to get as far away from you
as possible."
Heinz was taken aback. He gaped, "To get as far away from me as possible?"
Sylvia nodded, "Exactly. Gary and Ernest are grown-ups now, and you are still micromanaging
them. They are undergoing puberty, so it''s normal for them to be rebellious."
"How did you know?"
"From the books, of course! Dad, you should let Ernest and Gary go. Sebastian and I are here to
apany you. Mommy is also here too. Aren''t you looking forward to going on dates with Mommy
every day?"
A bitter expression shed across Heinz''s handsome face. He found it a little hard to ept.
His children had all grown up and they were independent now. They were going to leave this home
eventually. More importantly, it was too sudden.
Fortunately, he still had Sylvia and Sebastian by his side. If not, he was going to die from
depression.
A thought suddenly shed across his mind as he asked, "Then what about your uncle? Is Lowell
leaving too?"
Sylvia stuck out her tongue and giggled, "Dad, he has already left." "What?" Heinz''s eyes widened
and his jaw dropped to the ground in disbelief, "Is he not pursuing his studies locally too?"
"Uncle Lowell became an exchange student and was sent directly to the United States. Mommy
also knows about it. He has already left for more than half a year. Did you not know about this?"
"Why didn''t anyone tell me?" Heinz shot up in the air. He was really furious because the information
he received in a day was too overwhelming.
Sylvia noticed her father being too anxious. She could only stick her tongue out. She probably
revealed too much.
Was she going to be spanked by Mommy?
Nowadays, everyone at home had done stuff behind Heinz''s back. After all, he was too clingy and
would nag everyone at every chance he got.
In a sense, it was pitifully cute.
Sylvia had secrets of her own, but there was no way she was going to tell her daddy. That was
because Heinz loved her the most, so she couldn''t just break his heart like that.
"Tell me, when did Lowell leave?" Heinz demanded, "Everyone is acting so ridiculous. Do all of you
still take me seriously?"
"Even Grandpa knows," Sylvia gave the final blow.
Heinz fell silent instantaneously.
In recent years, Lawrence had be close to the family. Since he was still Heinz''s father, Heinz
couldn''t just leave him be, no matter what.
Grace was an outstanding wife. She was the person in charge of managing everything, while his
father was living in a nearby vi of his own.
On some days, Lowell would go and pay Lawrence a visit, and Heinz''s children would visit him
asionally too.
The old man had finally settled down. After paying off his debts, he spent most of his time nowadays
fishing and walking around the park. He was behaving exactly like a retired old man, and was no
longer cruel or greedy.
Perhaps Candace''s death had turned him into a new leaf.
In short, the old man had steered clear of any trouble for the past decade.
However, Heinz''s rtionship with him was still the same. They were indifferent to each other. They
would nod when meeting each other, but would avoid engaging in any deep or meaningful
conversation. At the very least, Heinz didn''t hinder his children from visiting Lawrence.
In short, everything was heading in a good direction.
"No, I have to ask your mommy. Why am I unaware of everything?" Heinz''s handsome face turned
gloomy. It was a big blow to him that he had been kept in the dark for so long.
"Don''t, Daddy. This is a secret," Sylvia grabbed Heinz''s hand and pleaded, "If Mommy knows I''m
the one who told you, she''ll get angry at me."

"Am I not going to get angry?"
"Daddy is the best. You are the best daddy in the whole world," When necessary, Sylvia knew how
to persuade and act cute in front of Heinz. He had no choice but to give in to her request.
