Chapter 1195
"He''s the young master of the Lowe family in Soutnd." Benjamin sighed. "Mom, you gave Yvonne
a hard time just now, didn''t you?"
When Madam ine heard her son''s words, she immediately understood what he was thinking.
She said, "You want to take advantage of the Lowe family in Soutnd?"
"Why shouldn''t I?" Benjamin asked his mother directly, "The Lowe family in Soutnd has been
doing much better than before. They came close to closing down a few years ago. After Zachary
took over the business, it skyrocketed. The Lowe family has stepped back into the upper ss of
families again."
Madam ine looked at her son in shock and asked, "Are you telling the truth?"
"Yes," Benjamin said, "Mom, all you do is stay at home all day. You don''t even know that the outside
world has changed. What happened just now? What were they doing here?"
"You''re right," The olddy sighed. "I''ve utterly offended them! I don''t like her. It''s not like you don''t
know that."
"What?" Benjamin was stunned, "Mom, who you''ve offended is the big guy. I''ve been losing money
the past few years, and I lose money whatever I do. I''m exhausted. Mom, what are we going to do
now that you''ve chased the big guy who hase to us on his own?"
"Yvonne said that they are married," Madam ine said, "Since they are married, you can use your
position as the father-inw of the Lowe family to do something. There will always be someone who
will give you some face."
"Mom, Yvonne doesn''t even want to talk to me," Benjamin said, "You''re in a better situation here.
Why don''t you just apologize to Yvonne, and admit your mistakes? Let her take care of our family so
that I can make up for all the money I have lost."
"I won''t do that," Madam ine said, "You know that I hate her. If it weren''t for your father, I wouldn''t
have kept the child."
"Mom, do you really hate Yvonne that much?" Benjamin was very suspicious, "You''re usually rather
nice to her. It''s just that you always speak so harshly."
The olddy said coldly, "I hate her. Hurry up and leave. You''re also an eyesore now. If you want to
gain some benefits from them, just go ahead. Don''t drag me into this."
"Mom, I can''t live like this any longer. If not for me, do it for your grandson," Benjamin brought up his
son, hoping to touch his mother''s heart.
The olddy was taken aback when he mentioned her grandson. He was the son of Benjamin''s
current wife and Yvonne''s younger brother.
Seeing that his mother seemed to have loosened up a little, Benjamin said with joy in his eyes,
"Mom, please, please help me talk to Yvonne."
Madam ine remained silent.
Benjamin looked at the gifts and said, "Mom, you won''t be needing these gifts either; they''re too
high-end. I''ll go and exchange them for money, okay?"
Madam ine looked at her son disdainfully and said coldly, "You good-for-nothing. You''ve really
disgraced me."
"Even so, it''s not my fault," Benjamin said. "I can''t do anything about it either. If I could, I wouldn''t
have embarrassed you."
Benjamin carried up a few boxes containing the most expensive gifts. He looked at his mother and
said, "I''m taking these away. As for the rest, keep them for me. I''lle and get themter."
Madam ine scolded, "Get out of here."
Benjamin didn''t get angry. Instead, he chuckled and left, feeling very satisfied.
When Madam ine returned to her room, she stared at her husband''s portrait and began to cry.
In the car, Yvonne and Zachary had already left. They went directly to Zachary''s home in Soutnd.
The ce was grand, and the surrounding was tranquil.
The butler of the mansion had already prepared the food and their rooms in advance.
The two of them got out of the car and ate first.
Yvonne didn''t have any appetite and only ate a bit.
Zachary did not force her when he saw that she had no appetite.
He could totally understand her for having no appetite because of what had happened earlier that
day.
After eating, he brought Yvonne to his room. It was cleaned regrly and the supplies were
constantly refreshed, making this a ce he could move into at anytime.
After entering the room, Yvonne said, "Zachary, I''m sorry for today."
Zachary looked at her with gleaming eyes.
This silly girl was really feeling sorry. Zachary held her shoulders with both hands and looked down
at her cheek. The handprint was gone, but her face was still red.
He narrowed his eyes and said, "It''s my fault. I had thought that I could hold back my anger to
resolve the conflict between you and your grandmother and let her happily ept me as her
grandson-iw. However, I didn''t hold back; I was infuriated."
"Zachary, this has nothing to do with you," Yvonne shook her head, "She is who she is. My family is
not a happy family, just like many unfortunate families. I''m sorry."
"There''s no need for apologies between us." He lowered his head and looked at her. His eyes were
so deep that they could suck her in.
Yvonne''s face turned slightly red, and so the rims of her eyes.
"But still, it was your first time visiting my family, and the situation became so awkward. I''m sorry."
"Actually, to put it bluntly, what I did is hard for anyone to ept." Zachary also understood his
situation, "You see, I knocked you up and then disappeared. You had to take care of our child alone.
Any elders wouldn''t have let me go easily."
Yvonne''s face turned even redder after hearing the words "knock you up". She stared at him with
wide eyes and said, "You phrased it so badly."
She was very embarrassed.
Zachary did not avoid her eyes. He looked at her and said, "What''s so bad about it? Isn''t that the
truth?"
His tone became deep and husky.
Yvonne lowered her head. She had never told Zachary about the condition of her family.
"Zachary, the situation in my family is not good," She whispered.
"I don''t care," Zachary said, "I only care about you."
Yvonne raised her eyes. Her eyes were red as she looked at him, and they were filled with sincerity,
"But I''ve never told you what kind of environment I lived in."
"Now I know." Zachary said, "I''m furious at myself for letting you go when I went to the United
States. If I had imprisoned you by my side then, we could have been together sooner."
Yvonne stared at him, tears streaking down her face.
Zachary held her shoulders and held her whole in his arms. He said softly, "Yvonne, my family is not
good either. My parents may have loved each other, but my grandparents were not like that. I also
have horrible rtives. My aunt even went to extreme measures for money and ended up in jail. My
uncles only have their self-interests in mind. My family is also full of ugly things."
Yvonne was stunned. This was the first time she had heard Zachary say all this.
"So you see, we are a perfect match," Said Zachary in a gentle voice.
Yvonne sucked in a breath of air, choking back her tears.
Her crying look was so lovely, but it broke his heart.
Zachary''s brows furrowed as he looked at her.
