Chapter 1191
ine did not show any kindness towards Zachary. Yvonne''s face suddenly fell when she saw her
grandmother''s attitude.
She pursed her lips and looked at her grandmother. The olddy before her was over sixty yet was
energetic and did not look her age at all.
"Why aren''t you greeting me? Am I supposed to greet you first?" Madam ine asked unhappily as
she reprimanded Yvonne.
Yvonne trembled slightly, and only after a few moments did she say, "Grandma, I''m back."
Madam ine just stared at her deeply without any emotions. It seemed that she didn''t wee
her granddaughter who had been away from home for many years.
"I''m married." Yvonne stood at the end of the stairs as she spoke, "I brought him to see you."
ine then froze. It was only then that she seemed to have been affected by her words. She
narrowed her eyes and looked at them. After a long while, she said unhappily, "Come in and talk."
It was only then were Yvonne and Zachary able to enter the house.

The old-fashioned house was given to Master Attworrd by his workce. It was small, about 70
square feet, and the house looked like it hadn''t been refurbished for years, but the ce was tidy.
The wood furniture was odorless. Although it was old, it was very clean.
"Since you are here, take a seat." After ine entered the house, she said to Yvonne and Zachary.
After the two chauffeurs ced all the gifts in the living room, the space instantly became smaller.
ine didn''t look at those gifts. Instead, she scrutinized Zachary.
Zachary met ine''s eyes and did not avoid her gaze. He was ready to face her.
ine did not speak either; she merely scrutinized him sternly. Her gaze was sharp as an eagle,
which made people feel anxious.
Even Yvonne felt awkward. She didn''t like the way her grandmother red at Zachary.
Hypercritical.
Her grandmother looked at him with a hypercritical gaze.
Zachary was her lover, and she did not get much protection in this family. Therefore, she felt
ufortable when her grandmother looked at Zachary with such eyes.
She could ept any criticism her grandmother had toward her, but she couldn''t ept her
grandmother treating Zachary like that.
She coughed and cleared her throat.
ine turned her gaze towards Yvonne, and her eyes were filled with displeasure. "What? Yvonne,
do you have a problem?"
Yvonne pursed her lips. She was about to say something, but she swallowed her words in the end.
"Did you just say that the two of you are married?" ine asked.
"Yes, Grandma." Yvonne nodded.
Madam ine didn''t look at her. She turned her eyes to Zachary and asked again in a low voice,
"With this flower-looking man in front of me?"
This description was not a good one for any man.
Yvonne was worried that Zachary would get angry, so she looked at him warily.
Zachary smiled slightly and replied, "Thank you for thepliment, Grandma. Let me introduce
myself, I am Zachary Lowe. Yvonne''s husband, and Maria''s father."
When ine heard that, anger shed across her calm face.
"You said you are Maria''s father?" Her tone was harsh.
Zachary nodded.
"Her biological father?" Only then did ine turn her gaze towards Yvonne.
"Yes, Grandma, Zachary is Maria''s biological father," Yvonne answered her grandmother''s question
truthfully.
This topic was taboo in the Attwood family. ine had never gotten an answer after questioning her
for a long time. Now that the answer was right in front of her, her emotions were naturally
complicated.
Zachary then called out, "Grandma!"
"Don''t call me Grandma." Madam ine said in a very serious tone, "Since you are Maria''s father,
you should know what Yvonne has endured all these years for you."
"I know." Zachary was very humble. "It is because I know that I didn''t waste any time in getting us
married first. As for the wedding arrangement, everything can be done ording to the customs of
Soutnd. Feel free to let us know if you have any requests, Grandma." "I said, don''t call me
Grandma. I can''t afford a grandson-inw like you." The olddy still had an indifferent expression
on her face.
Zachary was not angry. Instead, he had a sincere attitude. "I know you are angry because my
irresponsibility had led to Yvonne going through many hardships over the years. The Attwood family
has also been misunderstood by everyone. Everything in the past was indeed my fault."
"It has nothing to do with you," Yvonne hurriedly piped up. "Grandma, it has nothing to do with
Zachary. It was all my own free will."
She couldn''t stand her grandmother''s criticism of him.
She could not bear to me Zachary because he was hers. Furthermore, this matter had nothing to
do with Zachary. She wanted to leave.
Although it was his father who had requested it, she did leave without telling him. It was her fault.
What did it have to do with him?
Her grandmother was being unfair to Zachary.
Her words instantly made Madam ine unhappy. She immediately disyed the dignity of an
Attwood family elder and scolded in a deep voice, "There is no room for you to speak here. Haven''t
you brought enough shame to the Attwood family? Am I not allowed to question the creator of this
shameful incident now?"
Yvonne took a deep breath. She looked at her grandmother and said, "Grandma, you can scold me
and punish me, but it has nothing to do with him."
Upon hearing ine''s words to Yvonne, Zachary frowned slightly, and his heart instantly tensed up.
This was infuriating.
Zachary did not lose his temper on the spot due to his manners.
He said promptly, "I had indeed brought a lot of harm to Yvonne. This is a responsibility I cannot
shirk."
"Zachary, don''t." Yvonne shook her head at him. "This has nothing to do with you. I was the one
who wanted to leave. I left on my own free will. You don''t know anything at all, so how could it have
anything to do with you?"
"Yvonne Attwood, you better shut up." ine spoke in a deep voice. Her voice became much louder
involuntarily.
It was obvious that she was an olddy with a bad temper.
Yvonne pursed her lips, raised her chin slightly, and said, "Grandma, it was my fault for having a
child before marriage, but I never announced it publically. You know very well who was the one who
did it."
ine''s face fell. "If you didn''t do such things, would people have had the chance to humiliate you?"
"Grandma, I think that''s unfair," Yvonne retorted. "I had done something wrong, but I''m not the one
who truly wants to bring shame to the Attwood family. If you think that I have, then I can leave and
note back ever again."
"You d*mn brat." The olddy red up instantly. "Didn''t youe as you pleased this time as well?
Has anyone asked you toe?"
These words slipped into Yvonne''s ears like a hammer, instantly smashing her heart into pieces.
The hurt brought by family members was always so painful. She knew that she had been a burden
since she was a child.
