Chapter 1076 All the Time to Toy with You
Grace''s heart skipped a beat. Little Gary''s words unnerved her.
After contemting for a little while, she finally decided not to tell him about it.
"Little Gary, you don''t have to overreact to everything. Just be careful not to take food from strangers. It''ll be alright."
Upon hearing his mother''s words, Little Gary all but gave up on the idea of probing his mother. He had other tricks up his sleeves
anyway.
If Mommy won''t tell him, he could always ask the butler. He was sure that he would be able to get to the bottom of this once he
confronted the butler.
"OK, Mommy, I''ll take your word for it. I''m relieved that you sound well, I''ll hang up now," Little Gary said.
“Look after Ernest and Lowell for me, alright? And don''t cause any trouble for the butler." Grace instructed firmly.
“Alright Mommy, | promise | won''t,” Little Gary said and muttered in his heart. "But the butler has.
caused you trouble."
Grace looked helplessly at Heinz after she hung up the phone.
"I''m sorry, | can''t convince him," Grace said.
"I''m already touched that you''re protective of me, Grace. At least the brat isn''tpletely shutting me out. | won''t really take his
words to heart." Heinz looked at Grace dotingly as he spoke. "Moreover, what he said wasn''t wrong either. | really do need
someone to keep me in check, for your sake."
Grace twitched her lips, "Although hearing you say that makes me feel better, you understand that | don''t feel veryfortable
seeing you being taken advantage of like that, right?"
"You''ll get used to it," Heinz echoed with a chuckle. "That''s what our son said."
Grace didn''t know what to say, nor did she know what to think.
After hanging up the phone, Little Gary hurriedly ran to seek out the butler.
The moment the butler saw him, he immediately grinned and asked, "Young Master Gary, are you looking for something to eat?"
"Yeah, | would like some fruit," Little Gary said. "Hurry up and serve me a whole te."
“As you wish." the butler answered and swiftly ordered the kitchen to prepare them, "Prepare some fruits for the young masters,
one of each!"
"Yes!"
It didn''t take long for the fruits to be served.
Little Gary''s ears perked up and his eyes moved around to inspect the fruits. "I think | still saw some fruits left in the kitchen, you
didn''t serve everything, did you?"
"The kitchen?" The butler looked at Little Gary in shock and continued, "When did you visit the kitchen?"
Seeing that the butler looked panicked, Little Gary began to push, "What''s wrong? Can''t | go there whenever | please?"
"Some fruits in the kitchen can''t be consumed." The butler replied then immediately asked his colleagues, "Where are the fruits
I''ve asked you all to keep out of reach? Are they still in the locked cupboard? None of you took them out, right?"
"No, Sir. We would never disobey your orders." the people in the kitchen answered.
"Good," the butler breathed a sigh of relief.
That was exactly what he wanted.
Little Gary rolled his beady eyes and said, "Butler, why did you make them put the fruits away? Could they be poisoned?"
He had figured out that those fruits in particr must have made his mother ill and got her admitted to the hospital. He wanted to
figure out who had sent them in the first ce.
He would definitely not be able to get an answer from the butler if he asked out in the open. Judging from how vignt the butler
appeared to be, the man probably would not tell the truth.
Therefore, Little Gary asked for fruits instead to attract everyone''s attention.
Sure enough, when the butler heard the word ‘poisoned’, his eyes widened in shock as he gasped out, "You can''t ever touch
those fruits! Do you understand?"
"Why not? Will you all eat them behind my back?" Little Gary asked. "Aren''t they for us? | don''t care, | want to eat them! Have
you locked away all the good stuff to prevent us from eating them? Are you trying to torture us because Heinz and Mommy aren''t
here?"
“Of course not. How dare we do that. There''s just something wrong with those fruits," the butler defended.
"What''s wrong with them?" Little Gary wondered.
"That!" The butler was stumped for a moment.
“Well talk about that some other time. I''m sorry but Mr. Heinz has forbidden me to talk about it."
"You can tell me secretly." Little Gary insisted.
The butler looked even more troubled, his face went sour. "Please spare me. Can you please stop running into the kitchen?" He
pleaded.
"If there is something wrong with those fruits, then why are you still keeping them in the
kitchen? What if we eat them by mistake? | heard you say that they were poisonous, you
know?" Gary pointed out.
Those words pierced the butler''s heart like a sharp steel knife.
He could not contain his shock as he asked, "Where did you hear that?”
"Alright, Butler, let''s not beat around
the bush. I''ll tell you straight up that |

"You heard everything?" The butler became even more astonished.
"Yes, everything," Little Gary stated firmly. "Look, | don''t really want to eat the fruits either. | just want to know who sent them."
"Um... well... it''s..." The butler sputtered.
"Get to the point. If you''re truly a man, spit it out," Little Gary provoked.
Facing this little rascal, the butler did not know how to react. He had not expected that his conversation from before had been
eavesdropped on.
How did this young man hear what he had said? Why hadn''t he noticed at all?
"Stop hesitating. I''m giving you a chance here," Little Gary urged, "You know how smart | am. If you don''t tell me, I''ll definitely
find a way to make things difficult for you in this house. I''ll make your job harder than it already is."
The butler''s face turned pale instantly.
He knew how hard it was to deal with this little rascal. Even Mr. Heinz couldn''t deal with him, so how could he as a mere butler
achieve such an impossible feat?
“please don''t," the butler pleaded.
"Then you''ll have to think this

After weighing the pros and cons, the butler eventually concluded that he really couldn''t afford to offend them.
“Alright, Young Master. I''ll tell you. But you have to promise not to tell Mr. Heinz, or else I''ll be finished," the butler said.
"You''d still be finished even if | don''t

The butlers face paled further from Little Gary''s indirect threats.
"Alright," he gritted his teeth and continued, "I''ll tell you who sent the fruit, but you mustn''t do anything rash, alright?"
"Alright," agreed Little Gary eagerly.
"It''s Mr. Yarbrough, your mother''s father," the butler answered.
