Chapter 995
“Of course | will," Little Gary answered. "I feel like bullying Maria whenever | see her because she looks so familiar. She makes
me feel as though she''s a rtive of mine."
"Why?" Heinz was puzzled. He started leaving the study room too, "I think you''re just too used to bullying her to the point you''re
finding excuses to justify your own behavior."
"Forget it. You won''t understand. It''s not like you can give me any constructive criticisms anyway. | won''t address you as my dad
either, so let''s just keep it to ourselves. | think you''re right that | should find Mommy instead of you in the future too," Little Gary
said with disdain.
“You turned so ruthless after extracting whatever information you wanted from me," Heinzmented for himself.
"In ancient times, people have always killed their donkeys after it has finished its job." Little Gary said, "You should have seen
thising."
"Hey, little guy!" Heinz twisted his eyebrows, "I''m your dad, not a donkey, okay." "Oh,e on, you''re worse than a donkey,"
Little
Gary smirked. "Good night, old man." "This little fe," Heinz sighed helplessly.
After seeing Little Gary go to his room, he went back to his own room as well.
Upon seeing him, Grace asked immediately, "So what was it about? Did he ask whether his teacher gave me a phone call?"
Heinz nodded and sighed, "Yeah, our son is really intelligent. I''ve gotten teased, criticized, even despised by him, and as usual
he did not call me "daddy", nor do | know when he will ever do so."
“But now, | can''t seek my revenge yet as it''ll only make his disdain for me grow stronger!"
After that, he sighed deeply, "How | wish | could live long enough to hear him addressing me as his dad."
She felt ufortable about it and sighed as she apologized, "My bad, | didn''t teach him well enough. | really didn''t expect him
to be so stubborn when ites to this matter as he''s usually quite mature. | really can''t fathom why he is holding a grudge
against you for so long."
"Maybe he has really high expectations for me. That''s why he despised me for not treating you right, as well as the fact that I''m a
divorcee which made it worse for you," Heinz held her hand, "Hearing what he said, | really feel as though | don''t deserve
someone like you as well." "It has passed, let''s not talk about it anymore," Grace said.
"Okay, won''t talk about it." he sighed again. "It''s good enough that we have a son like him. | guess I''ll leave it to fate on whether
he would ever address me as his dad."
Heinz then felt Grace''s belly and gently said, "I wish I''ll always be able to stay by this baby''s side, so that she could be my
precious darling in the future."
She promised softly, "Don''t worry, I''ll make sure that this baby bes super close to you."
"I''d rather be even closer to you!" He hugged her amorously. "I really wish we could do something, but for now, we can only resist
ourselves.”
The two of them went to sleep in each other''s arms.
Throughout the night, Heinz couldn''t sleep well though, because he had to take cold showers from time to time. He realized it felt
extra ufortable after separating himself from her for such a long period of time.
He wasn''t sure if he couldst through the entire pregnancy, as he felt like he was close to exploding.
As a result, early in the morning, he appeared with huge eye bags in front of everyone.
This caused Little Gary to criticize him further. "Were you not able to sleep well? It''s probably because you did too many
shameful things and felt guilty about it, right?"
It was only then that Grace noticed his panda eyes, causing her to frown, "You couldn''t sleep wellst night?"
He looked a little embarrassed. Of course, he couldn''t sleep well; how could he when there was such a lovely figure in his
arms?"
"It was still fine," he answered in a perfunctory manner.
"That''s just a perfunctory answer. If you slept well, you wouldn''t have gotten those eye bags," Little Gary said to him before
turning to Grace. "Morning, Mommy."
She looked at her son, "Hurry up and have your breakfast. I''ll be sending you and Ernest to the kindergartenter."
"Why?" He grew wary immediately.
“Because | feel so bored after staying at home for so long. | need to take a walk for my own health, and also pay more attention
to you. Otherwise, you''re going to use me of not caring about you enough once your little sibling is born."
She sounded so reasonable that Little Gary couldn''t find anything else to say.
"Alright then!"
They arrived at the kindergarten around 7.30 a.m.
When she met Miss Hond, she also met the little girl named Maria.
She looked just like a little fairy with her long hair tied up into a bun. She wore a white sweater with a pink skirt, as well as a pair
of white leather shoes. She looked extremely beautiful.
She took a liking to this little girl as soon as sheid her eyes on her.
She could see the little girl all the way from outside of the ssroom, as she was strikingly beautiful.
After Little Gary and Ernest entered the ssroom, Miss Hond pointed Maria out to Grace.
"She''s Maria Attwood. She normally goes by Maria."
Grace guessed correctly as this little girl looked so extraordinary with a delicate aura around her, as well as a beautiful little face.
At the young age of five, she looked super cute as well, making Grace feel a strong affability towards her.
No wonder her son always tried bullying her. He probably just wanted to get her attention.
"What a beautiful child," Grace marveled at the
little girl.

“Of course," Miss Hond went inside and asked her toe out.
When the little girl came out, she looked surprised and slightly shy to see Grace as she smiled faintly.
Grace felt taken aback as she found her face to be oddly familiar.
It was as if they had met each other before.
She was momentarily stunned for a while and only regained her senses after Miss Hond nudged her.
