"I''m fine." Grace thought that Heinz was worried about her. "I''m fine. You can rest assured that I''m not a
person who would do stupid things. You take care too."
"Grace," Heinz said with a hoarse voice, "I know that whatever I say now won''t make up for the trauma
that you''ve suffered."
She lowered her eyes. Although she didn''t want to face it, she knew she had to no matter what. "You
have always been unwilling to tell me everything, and you''re not willing to be truthful. In fact, you know

"Maybe." Grace said, "But now, what do you think we should do?"
"We''re going to get married," Heinz said.
"Then tell me, how are we going to get married?" Grace asked, sounding a little annoyed. "Can we still
get our marriage certificate?"
Heinz chuckled and said softly, "I''ll handle it."
"Handle what?" Grace asked, "You haven''t handled this matter in so many years and all of a sudden,
you can handle it now?"
"I just didn''t realize it," Heinz said.
"I can''t be with you anymore." Grace felt that she had lost her courage.
"Why?" Heinz said, "As long as Jodie''s ount is revoked and there is a death certificate, my marriage
with her would be revoked too and we can finally get married."
"Yes, deep down in your heart, you think you can solve it like this. But you haven''t been able to solve
this problem for five years. I doubt you were unaware of your marital status. I doubt you are ready for
divorce either, without even the slightest concern of the consequences of your divorce." Grace said,
"Maybe you overlooked it, but then, what about me?"
"Have you ever wondered if I could continue being in a rtionship with you, and to ept you? I think
that this would be too hard for me.
"I''d always think of myself as a mistress. I fell in love with you, and I hadn''t the faintest idea that you
had been married. Heinz, do you think this is eptable?"
"Whether I got married or not, I am still me." Heinz lowered his voice. "There is no difference. I want to
marry you and this has never changed."
"But what about me? Have you ever thought that I might have changed?" Grace''s heart was a mess.
"My heart is full of sorrow. I don''t even know how to express my feelings to you. I feel like backing
down."
Grace was beginning to back down.
"No." Heinz said deeply, "I won''t allow you to back down."
Grace stared at the distant sky; the birds were flying freely, full of freedom. There were also kites flying

Heinz was a domineering man. To him, as long as he wanted Grace, she knew that there was no

Upon hearing this, Heinz''s heart skipped a beat. He closed his eyes and said in a deep voice, "Fine, I
once loved Jodie. I loved her so much that I wanted to marry her. Is that what you want to hear? Are
you satisfied now?"
Grace was stifled.
She dropped her hand that was holding her phone to her ear.
Her phone almost fell to the ground.
She was startled by her own actions.

When Grace heard voicesing from her phone, she panicked for a while and rubbed her be,
attempting to get rid of her frustration and panic.

Still not hearing Grace''s voice, Heinz became even more aggressive, grabbing his cell phone in

Grace didn''t hear him. After a long pause, she picked up her cell phone again and said to him, "Heinz, I

Grace smiled helplessly, bit her lips and said, "Heinz, I don''t have the courage to do that for the time
being. I don''t want to do this either. I feel messed up. Don''t look for me anymore. If you really want to
help me, stop harassing me.
"Tell me, where are you?" Heinz still wanted to know if Grace was safe or not.
"Stop asking any more questions. Take good care of the children," Grace said.
After she finished speaking, she immediately hung up the phone.
Grace then took a taxi and went to the newspaper office.
She went to find Hermione.
Hermione was surprised when she saw Grace.
"Didn''t you ask for a two- week leave?" Hermione asked, "Why have you returned before your leave
ends?"
"Hermione." Grace said, "Give me some work to do. I need to work."
She only wanted to work now. If she had nothing to do, she would go crazy.
