Chapter 606

    Chapter 606

"Alice?" Heinz caught a nce of her as he turned sideways. He noticed the expression on her face

and a bad feeling arose in his heart. She had heard their conversation. This wasn''t good.

Jensen froze. He turned around and his gaze met with hers. Her eyes were nk as she looked at him

    and his heart ached.

    Jensen also forgot to react.

He had never imagined that Alice would look at him this way. Her eyes were filled with usations; she

had been lied to and she was disappointed, terrified, and in despair.

"Alice, listen to me!" Jensen immediately said, "I''ll exin everything."

Alice gazed at him and asked in a soft voice, "Was what you guys said true?"

Jensen stood there motionlessly. A trace of worry flitted across his eyes, but still he nodded. "Yes, the

man from six years ago was me."

    Alice''s heart suddenly sank.

    So it was Jensen.

The one who had started her endless nightmares six years ago was Jensen.

Heinz was also very worried. It seemed that Alice had heard it all.

Heinz smiled awkwardly, put out his cigarette, and said to them, "You two can have a good talk. Since

she found out about it, you should be honest with each other. Anyway, it''s just the two of you. There''s

nothing you guys can''t get through together!"

After that, Heinz turned around and left. He entered the room that Grace was in.

After entering, Heinz secretly took a deep breath. Sh*t!

    He shouldn''t have gone out.

Grace was coaxing the children to sleep and he couldn''t stand it any longer so he went out for a

    smoke.

He hadn''t expected that everything would be messed up after talking to Jensen.

    Heinz was speechless.

He took a deep breath. He saw that Grace was still awake and she hade out to see him.

"What''s wrong with you?" She asked curiously.

"Huh?" Heinz didn''t want her to be worried, so he replied calmly, "I''m fine. I went out to smoke." "Hurry

up and go to sleep." Grace came over and said worriedly, "I don''t know how my cousin''s doing now."

Heinz replied, "Don''t worry. If Old Master Carter is gone, your cousin will call. Since he hasn''t called us

yet, everything must be going smoothly."

    Grace nodded.

Heinz saw that she wasn''t doubtful at all, but he also felt that if he didn''t tell her about it now, she would

be deeply angered if she came to know about it the next day.

He thought for a moment and decided to tell her. "Grace."

"Yes?" She nced at him and asked, "Do you have anything to say?"

    "Yes."

"Then why don''t you just say it?" Grace could not stand it whenever he wouldn''t just say what was on

his mind. "You''re a man. Just be more direct."

"Of course I''m a man." Heinz nodded and said quickly, "I''m in trouble."

"Trouble?" Grace frowned again. "What kind of trouble did you get into?"

"Your sister and Jensen were together tonight. They finally slept with each other. It should''ve been a

    good thing."

"That''s a good thing." Grace looked at him in surprise and asked, "What''s the plot twist behind it?"

"Just now, Jensen and I were smoking outside and we talked about what happened in the outdoor tent

six years ago. Your sister overheard it." Heinz looked at Grace, and a trace of helplessness shed

across her eyes. "That''s it. Alice knows everything now."

Grace''s heart tightened and her expression fell. "What about Alice? Did she say anything?"

Heinz said, "Her face was pale. I don''t know exactly what she said but she looked very ufortable."

Looking at her face, it was as white as a sheet. It must''ve been a painful blow to Alice.

"That''s for sure." Grace looked at Heinz and frowned. "You really aren''t careful with your words."

"You''re right to criticize me," Heinz admitted honestly. "We shouldn''t have left a small gap by the door,

then Alice would not have overheard our conversation."

Grace nced at him for not knowing the limits. She didn''t know what to say anymore. In fact, she also

knew about that sooner orter, Alice would find out about it.

However, Grace didn''t know what Alice would think of it. What she would experience once again.

That was Alice''s darkest past and the person behind it was Jensen. Because of this, Alice had not

made any friends until she met Jensen. Moreover, the sole reason they got together was that Jensen

    wanted to take responsibility.

    What would Alice think now?

Grace was very worried. She opened the door and wanted to go and see if her sister was still outside.

After taking a look, she found that they were still there.

Neither of them spoke. They just looked at each other.

When Grace opened the door and saw this, she was also stunned. She wanted to go out.

Heinz grabbed her and closed the door.

He held her around the waist and whispered, "Grace, don''t. This matter needs to be settled between

the two. If you go out now, Alice will be very ufortable when you are stuck in between the two of

them. She knows that we all know about it but she was the only one who didn''t. Everyone closest to

her has lied to her about it so she must be very sad."

    Grace froze.

It was undeniable that what Heinz had said was true.

It made a lot of sense.

She sighed, her brows knitted together. "I''m afraid that she won''t be able to walk out from her past."

"Jensen will be by her side," Heinz said. "If she can''t do it now, she''ll just need some time. They need

    tomunicate with each other now."

"Do I really have to stay here?" Grace paced back and forth. "I know it''s not a good time to go out now."

How did all these troubles get entangled in her mind?

"Don''t go out," Heinz said. "Let''s just wait and see! If they haven''t entered the house yet, then we''ll

    think of a way."

At this time, Alice and Jensen had been standing at the door for a long time. They both looked at each

    other and did not talk.

The cigarette in Jensen''s hand had been burnt out and almost scalded his hand. He put it out and his

    movements were stiff and clumsy.

Alice didn''t say anything; she just looked at him. Her gaze was bing colder and colder.

He felt that the look in her eyes could freeze him instantly.

He slowly felt that something bad was about to happen. He looked at Alice, and finally, Jensen said in a

difficult voice, "Alice, let''s go into the house and talk about it, okay?"

He felt that it would be awkward to talk about this at the door, in case someone would overhear.

"What are you afraid of?" Alice said coldly. "Didn''t you talk veryfortably with my brother- in-w just

now? You said it so straightforwardly. You told my brother-inw about me, but you didn''t tell me. Even

my sister knew about it. All of you knew about it, but yet refused to tell me."
