Chapter 579
When Zachary received the call, he was on hisptop. He hesitated for a moment before picking up
when he saw who was calling.
"Hello?"
"Zachary!"
"Grandpa!" Zachary was not surprised. He had already expected that Maxim would call him after taking
the urn away.
"Uncle Charles, Uncle Donald and Aunt Eva are going over to your ce now," Maxim said.
Zachary paused. From Maxim''s tone, he realized that his grandfather must be in a bad mood.
Zachary suddenly realized that his three children must''ve fought with him. Otherwise, he would not
have called Zachary.
"Grandpa, you shouldn''t have fought for the urn," Zachary said calmly through the phone.
Maxim didn''t answer him and changed the topic. "The three of them areing for your money. It''s
your choice."
Maxim didn''t say much, and hung up immediately after saying this.
Zachary felt perplexed as he held onto his cell phone before putting it down.
He got up and went downstairs.
Soon after, the butler came to report to him in a hurry. "Young Master Zachary, Maxim''s three children
are here."
"My uncles and aunt?" Zachary asked.
The butler nodded. "Yes."
"Since they''re here, invite them in." Zachary instructed emotionlessly, "Let them into the front hall."
"Yes, sir!"
The butler quickly rushed over to the door and let them in.
Zachary entered the front hall and stood in front of his father''s portrait. He looked at it.
When Charles came in with Eva and Donald, he saw Zachary''s back facing them. His tall figure stood
in front of Philip''s portrait.
Charles'' eyes lit up, but he didn''t say anything.
Eva, who was impatient, had already begun to speak. "Zachary, we are all here. Do you have to make
your elders wait for you as we stare at your back?"
Zachary did not reply nor turn around to look at them. He bowed to his father as if there was no one
else there but him.
Charles frowned and warned Eva with a look.
Eva ignored Charles'' warning and snorted, "Charles, what I said is for his own good."
Just then, Zachary turned around and looked at them. His expression was indifferent, and he said
casually, "Aunt Eva, I''m sorry. I was saying a few words to my dad just now. He appeared in my
dream and told me to be carefulst night."
Eva was shocked, and she frowned. "What are you trying to pull? Do you really think that we will
believe you?"
"Aunt Eva, you don''t have to believe me," Zachary said. "He appeared in my dream, not yours, so it
doesn''t matter if you believe me or not."
Eva sneered, "How dare you speak to me like that? Even your father had never dared to disrespect
me."
As she spoke, she nced at Philip''s portrait. She did not dare to meet her little brother''s gaze in the
portrait as she looked away.
"Aunt Eva." Zachary looked peaceful, and his tone was calm. He then spoke slowly, "You seem to have
made a mistake." His words felt oppressing to the three of them.
"What mistake?" Eva paused, irritated by Zachary''s stare. "Tell me, what mistake have I made?"
"My father respects you as his sister, but you''ve never cared about his early death. Furthermore, you''ve
been abusing my mom all these years, and now you''re here trying to order me around?"
Eva was stunned. She widened her mouth, bewildered. "Zachary, y- you have such a bad temper."
"Eva, stop talking. I told you not to say anything, and yet you still did." Charles stopped her right away.
"Zachary, let''s sit down and talk."
"Yes, let''s sit down and talk about it," Donald also immediately suggested. "Let''s not fight; it''ll only break
the peace."
Eva frowned. She blurted, "Where''s your mother? We''re all here now, yet she is nowhere to be seen?"This material belongs to N?velDrama.Org.
Right then, Nerissa had already heard themotion from the front hall, so she rushed over from the
back.
She happened to pass by the guest room.
Grace had also heard some noise, and came out of the room.
"Aunt Nerissa, what happened?"
"Grace!" Nerissa looked at her and said, "The butler said that Zachary''s uncles and aunt are all here.
I''m going to have a look!"
"Do you want me to go with you?" Grace was worried that Zachary and Nerissa would be at a
disadvantage.
Heinz also came out of the room and said, "Aunt Nerissa, let us go with you."
Nerissa nodded and agreed, "Okay, let''s all go together then."
Thus, Heinz and Grace walked towards the front hall together with Nerissa.
As soon as they entered, they heard Evaining, "Your mother is too arrogant. Zachary, no matter
how rich and powerful you are, you are still part of the younger generation of the Lowe family. We are
your family members. You can''t just abandon us and look down on us."
Zachary ignored her and did not say anything.
"Hey, isn''t that Nerissa?" Eva nced at Nerissa, as well as the tall man and the beautiful woman
beside.
Eva was startled for a moment but quickly came back to her senses. "I told you that Nerissa wouldn''t
look down on us. So it turns out that she was with guests. Why not introduce them to us? Who are
they?"
Grace did not have a good impression of this woman at all. Her words were like a double-sided de.
Nerissa introduced, "Eva, this is Grace Smith and Heinz Jones."
"Heinz Jones?" Eva repeated, her voice getting higher.
Heinz raised his eyebrows. He remained silent as he ignored her.
Grace took Nerissa''s arm and said, "Aunt Nerissa, please sit down first."
"Well, if you call her Aunt Nerissa, you should call me Aunt too," Eva said. "Since you havee to
Soutnd, I have no choice but to ept you. You can call me Aunt, and we can be a family now."
Grace looked at Eva calmly and said in a soft but firm voice, "Madam Lowe, my grandma only has two
kids, my mom and Uncle Philip. I''m not used to having familial rtionships with strangers. You don''t
have to force yourself. It''s best for us to mind our own business."
She had replied indifferently to make her refusal clear. She didn''t want Eva to be her aunt!
Eva instantly flew into a rage. She had never been looked down on like this before.
"You ungrateful child. Do you think that I am willing to recognize you as my rtive? If it wasn''t for
Zachary, why would I even ept you?"
"That''s good," Grace replied calmly. "I have no ns on being family with a stranger like you."
"You!" Eva frowned and looked at Nerissa. "Nerissa, did you see that? Your guest is such an insensible
girl."
Nerissa simply smiled without a word.
Heinz was not satisfied with Eva saying such words about Grace. He immediately retorted, "If she is
such an insensible girl, why are you still provoking her? I think you''re asking for it."
