Chapter 512

    Chapter 512

Grace and Ernest were both startled at Little Gary''s voice. They turned and looked at him.

"Little Gary," Grace called out. "Come here."

    Little Gary didn''t move.

Grace paused, calling out for her son again. "Little Gary?"

Little Gary then threw his schoolbag side and walked towards them.

After that, he did not say anything. He took off his shoes and climbed onto the bed. Seeing Grace and

Ernest holding each other, he knew that what Heinz said must''ve been true.

"Is Ernest really my younger brother?" Little Gary asked.

"Yes." Grace nodded. "Ernest is your younger brother. Mommy gave birth to twins, but he was taken

away by your auntie and uncle. It''s all my fault that I didn''t protect the both of you."

Little Gary paused. "So, it''s because of those two monsters."

    Monsters?

Heinz was startled when he heard the wordsing from Little Gary''s mouth.

Grace nodded. "Yes, they did go too far. They are monsters. We''ve been separated for so many years,

but it''s true that I wasn''t strong enough to protect Ernest as well as I should''ve. I should take

    responsibility for it."

"Mommy, it''s not your fault." Little Gary shook his head adamantly. "You don''t have to me yourself.

You were tricked by someone. No matter how strong you are, it''s still hard to escape from someone

    who''s trying to trick you."

    "That''s true," Heinz said.

"You." Little Gary turned over to look at Heinz. "You don''t have the rights to say anything."

"Mommy didn''t have it easy, having to protect her children. Heinz was also at fault. He had failed to

protect her, and now he wasn''t taking ountability," Little Gary thought to himself.

Heinz had no choice but to remain silent.

He no longer cared about Little Gary''s attitude towards him. His family was finally reunited. That was all

    that mattered now.

Grace looked at Little Gary who was sitting with his legs crossed. She was a little worried that Little

    Gary would feel left out.

Little Gary noticed that Grace had swollen eyes. He realized that she had been crying.

He was worried about his mother, but he also knew that things were not easy for her.

Little Gary looked at Ernest and held out his hands. "Ernest, wee home."

Ernest, who was worried about Little Gary''s reaction towards all this, was startled when he saw the

extended arms. He returned the smile and said, "Thank you, brother, I''m really happy that I''m home."

"I''ll protect you in the future as your brother," Little Gary promised. "I will give you anything you want in

the world." "Okay, thank you," Ernest repeated, looking at his elder brother.

The two of them held each other''s hands in a friendly manner.

Grace was touched at their interaction. She turned to look at Heinz.

He was already looking at her and their eyes met. The two of them looked at each other in silence, the

wounds in their heart finally healed. They could barely conceal their happiness.

Heinz tried hard to maintain hisposure, but he was too delighted.

There was a faint smile on Little Gary''s face. He was happy. ncing at Heinz, he said, "I thought that

someone was trying to deceive me. I didn''t expect that Ernest really was my brother."

"Huh?" Grace paused, realizing that Little Gary was referring to Heinz. "Sweetie, he''s your dad."

"Mommy, congrattions on finally finding Ernest," Little Gary interrupted his mother with a smile. He

did not want to talk about Heinz. It was awkward. Anyway, calling him "Dad" was really awkward for

    him.

Heinz sighed exasperatedly. He knew that Little Gary was reluctant to admit that he was his father, but

he could not do anything about it.

He looked at Grace and shook his head. When it came to this, there was no need to try and convince

him. It was best to let nature take its course.

Ernest got up from Grace''s embrace and scooted over to Little Gary. He smiled and copied his

brother''s posture. "I''m so happy. Dad said that we''re not going to school tomorrow. We''re going to

    celebrate."

"Celebrate?" Little Gary snorted. "Why don''t we celebrate after we deal with the bad guys? Those two

took my brother away so easily and even lied to Mommy that you were dead. I won''t let them go so

    easily!"

Little Gary turned to look at Heinz after finishing his words.

Heinz was startled. Naturally, he understood that these words were meant for him.

He immediately replied, "Of course, I won''t let them go like this. I''ll make sure that they get what they

    deserve."

"You''re useless." Little Gary looked at him in disdain. "You don''t even know that your wife gave birth to

twins. I can''t trust you. What if you let the bad guys get away?"

"You have to trust Uncle Charm," Heinz replied.

"Since Uncle Charm and you are so close to each other." Little Gary pointed out mercilessly. "I don''t

    trust him as well."

"He''s still capable of doing his job," Heinz stated. "We will definitely make sure that they don''t get away

    scot-free. Don''t worry."

"Where are they now?" Little Gary asked.

"They were taken away by Uncle Charm," replied

    Heinz.

"Did you take them to the police station?" Little Gary raised his eyebrows impatiently. "Didn''t you

punish them before letting them go?"

Heinz was surprised at his words. With great difficulty, he said, "I was too excited to bring your mom to

meet Ernest. I didn''t think too much about it."

"Well, what about now?" Little Gary continued, "Can''t you question them before letting them go?"

Heinz was again taken by surprise at his son''s words. He immediately took out his phone and gave

    Jensen a call.

Jensen picked up the phone. "Hey, have you found him? Is it Ernest?"

"It must be," Heinz replied. "What about Simon and Marry?"

"I''m on the way to the station."

"Okay," Heinz said in a low voice, "Let me have a word with them before that."

"What are you going to do?" Jensen asked curiously.

"What do you think? My own son was taken away by them, and I almost lost him for good. If I don''t do

anything about this, Grace will look down on me."

Jensenughed. "I''m afraid that it''s not Grace who looks down upon you, but Little Gary, right?"

    Heinz couldn''t deny that.

"That kid really is something else," Jensen said as he tried to hold back hisughter.

"Yes, it was his idea to intercept Simon and Marry." Heinz shook his head.

"Well, we need an excuse. Just remember, don''t kill them," warned Jensen.

"Don''t worry," Heinz said. "I''ll ask Lester and Alex toe with me."

    "Alright."

After hanging up the phone, Heinz immediately went to the study to give Lester and the others a call to

    prepare for this matter.

As soon as he left, Little Gary turned to Grace and Ernest smugly. "See that? He''s really ipetent,

isn''t he? We''ve been bullied by others but he wasn''t going to do anything about it. How stupid of him."
