Chapter 356
Lester held the mobile phone and looked at the kitchen again. He saw that Heinz was peeling the
shallots with a serious look on his face and his head lowered.
Lester then took a video of the scene.
"What should we do?" He asked the butler and Alex, "What should we do now?"
"Won''t Miss Smith call to persuade him?" Alex asked him.
"No, she won''t," Lester said. "Our president must have offended Miss Smith, so she doesn''t care about
him anymore."
"Don''t worry about it then. Let''s just wait," the butler said. "Well take turns to wait for him. Well switch
people after each hour."
They were happy with that decision.
With that, the three of them waited in turns for Heinz to finish.
In the end, Heinz stayed in the kitchen until it was two hours past midnight.
The three of them were shocked by his perseverance.
When Heinz came out of the kitchen and saw the three of them at the door, he frowned and asked,
"Why haven''t you gone to bed?"
"President, are you tired?" The butler asked as he looked at Heinz''s red eyes, which were a little
swollen. Obviously, it was caused by the shallots.
"I''m fine," Heinz said. Although Heinz looked a little embarrassed, he seemed to be in a good mood.
"Well, go and cook the shrimps. I''m hungry. Let''s make it our supper. I''ll go take a bath first, tell me
when it''s done."
With that, he left. His back seemed to be straight and he looked very tired.
As soon as the butler entered the kitchen, he saw that all the shallots had been peeled, and the rubbish
had been put into the garbage bag. The shallots were neatly ced and the kitchen looked
immacte.
In the sink, there was a big basin of washed shrimps.
The butler sighed and said, "Sure enough, he''s an outstanding man in both his work and household
chores. It''s incredible."
He quickly sorted the ingredients and went to steam the shrimps.
Upstairs, Heinz turned on the tap, filled the bathtub and nned to take a bath.
He was so exhausted. His hands were white and wrinkled because they were soaked in water for too
long.
His hands stank. It turned out that it was so hard to do house chores.
Heinz gazed at his hands andthered them with scented soap repeatedly. However, he could still
detect the fishy smell and the stench of shallots. The most annoying thing was that his eyes were red
as if he had cried.
By the time he had finished taking a bath, it was almost three o''clock.
Lester, Alex, and the butler immediately brought the shrimps to him when they saw himing down
from the stairs.
Arge pot of steamed shrimps was served on the table, and the butler had also made a bowl of soup.
"Let''s eat," Heinz said and began to eat.
This time, he didn''t say anything else but ate a lot. After eating, he wiped his mouth and said to the
butler, "Go to sleep now. You can wash the dishes tomorrow."
"Yes," the butler obliged.
All of them were ready to go to bed.
Heinz changed his clothes and went downstairs.
Lester looked at him and couldn''t help asking, "President, where are you going?"
"I''m going to find Grace," Heinz nced at him. "By the way, did Alice return to their house?"
"No," Lester replied. "We''ve stationed our men downstairs. They reported that Miss Alice never went
back."
"Is she safe?" Heinz asked.
"She went back to Hart Vi District with Officer Charm," Lester reported.
Heinz then said, "That''s good. Let''s go. Send me to Grace''s ce."

"Now?" Lester asked hesitantly.
"Of course," Heinz simply nodded.
"It''s quitete, won''t your visit bother Miss Smith?" Lester asked again.
"Since I can''t sleep, I think she won''t be sleeping either," Heinz said confidently. "I''ll apany her."
Lester was extremely baffled.
He really couldn''t understand his president.
Soon, they returned to the Emerald Apartment again.
When Heinz knocked on the door, Grace indeed had not slept.
As it was Ernest''s first time sleeping at her ce, she was worried that he would not be able to fall
asleep or he might kick the quilt away, so she got up to take a look at him. However, she found that
both children slept very well. They slept side by side and looked like real brothers.
She stared at them for a while and then returned to her room. As soon as she came out, she heard a
knock on the door.
Grace was startled by it. She walked to the door and looked through the peephole. When she saw
Heinz, she was even more surprised.
She opened the door, frowned and asked, "Why did youe here in the middle of the night?"
Without saying a word, he directly entered the house and closed the door. His actions were swift.
Grace quickly retreated, and his long arms wrapped around her. He grabbed Grace''s wrist and pulled
her into his arms. He lowered his voice and said, "I can''t
fall asleep, so I came to your ce."
Grace looked up at him, her heart suddenly jumped and felt burning hot. His gaze was so deep!
Wait!
It seemed that his eyes were getting redder and redder.
She was slightly surprised and immediately realized something. She quickly turned her head and
stopped looking at him.
Heinz had stayed upte peeling the shallots. Of course, his eyes would be red!
"Aren''t you going to say anything?" He looked down at her darting eyes and asked in a hoarse voice.
Grace still didn''t look at him. Hearing the tone in his voice, she instantly became shy.
However, this minuscule reaction was noticed by Heinz.
He narrowed his eyes and stared at her for a moment. Then, he bent down and carried her in his arms.
"Heinz!" Grace eximed with horror in her eyes. She knew what wasing next. She could see her
shy and reserved reflection in Heinz''s eyes.
The corners of his lips curved slightly, and his eyes shone brightly. "Don''t refuse me again this time."
Grace suddenly understood the situation. She grabbed his clothes tightly, and sweat oozed out of her
palms.
She didn''t look at him, but she sighed in her heart.
Once this man had a purpose, he would not stop until it had been achieved.
She admired Heinz from the bottom of her heart.
After hesitating for a while, she looked up but did not say anything. She just stared at him and then put
her hands around his neck. She leaned against his shoulder and sighed softly.
"It''s not that I want to refuse you. But I''m having my period," Grace said.
"What?" Heinz frowned when he heard that.
He hade to find herte at night, but he still couldn''t do it with her.
Grace nodded and said, "It came just after you left."
"Why am I so unfortunate?" He looked wronged, held Grace in his arms, went to the bedroom, and put
her on the bed.
He closed the door and came back. He looked down at her and said, "Are you lying to me?"
Grace looked at him and replied ndly, "Do I look like that type of person?"
Heinz sat next to her, looking down at her legs.
His eyes were like a searchlight.
Frowning, she asked in a low voice, "What are you looking at?"
"I''m not just going to look at it. I''m going to check if you''re lying to me," Heinz said as he reached out
his hand. He insisted on checking until he was satisfied. Then, he admitted, "Alright, you didn''t lie to
me."
Grace was very speechless and she sighed,
"Seriously..."
She rolled her eyes at him.
Heinz took Grace''s delicate little hand and held it in his. He said sadly, "It''s a pity. I was thinking to do it
several times with you, but you''re on your period. It truly is a pity."
