Chapter 347
When Heinz saw Little Gary walking into the bedroom and closed the door, only then did he take off his
suit jacket.
After he draped it on the sofa outside, he unbuttoned his sleeves and rolled them up. Then, he walked
into the kitchen again.
Grace turned around and was shocked by the appearance of his tall figure.
Heinz continued to undo the buttons on his other sleeve, and then rolled it up, revealing his healthy tan
skin.
"Let me do it," he said as he took the small basin from Grace''s hand and washed the rice.
Grace knitted her eyebrows together and asked, "What are you doing? Don''t mess things up."
"Mess things up?" Heinz frowned and looked at her, saying, "I''m helping."
"Are you sure you know how to do it?" Grace asked doubtfully as she thought that it was impossible for
the president of apany to know how to cook.
Seeing that she looked down on him, Heinz took the basin from her hand and said to her, "I''m sure I
know how to do it."
Grace had no choice but to give it to him. She stood aside and watched him do it.
Heinz put the basin in the sink and turned on the faucet. However, the flow was too big and many
grains of rice were washed out of the basin.
He was stunned and immediately reduced the flow, letting the water gently spill into the basin.
Grace looked at the fallen rice grains in the sink silently. Heinz probably doesn''t understand how
precious each rice grain was.
Heinz immediately exined, "It''s because I''m not familiar with this ce. I actually know how to steam
rice."
Grace didn''t say a word, but her eyes were fixated on the flowing water and she was a little
absentminded.
Heinz stared at her deeply and continued to do what he was doing.
His slender fingers scooped the rice grains and gently rubbed them together. Soon, the starch on the
rice was washed off and the water became clear. Then, he put some clean water in the rice cooker and
turned it on.
Grace kept watching him. The water that he had added was way too much.
Looking at his back, Grace pursed her lips and finally walked over. She said, "Don''t tell me that you
know how to steam rice. The ratio of rice to water is wrong!"
"Isn''t it right?" Heinz asked doubtfully, "Did I add too much or too little?"
"With this amount of water, you would be making us porridge instead of rice," said Grace. Although she
spoke in a calm tone, Heinz could hear the disdain in her voice.
He took a step back and said awkwardly, "Is there too much water?"
"Yes," Grace replied.
After that, she used a small ss to remove some water.
Heinz looked at her seriously and said, "Teach me, I''ll learn."
Grace ignored him and continued to scoop out another ss of water. Then, she covered the cooker''s
lid and pressed the cooking button.
"You haven''t taught me yet," Heinz stood in front of her as he said with a grievance, lowering his head
and looking at Grace.
Grace turned around and saw him standing close to her.
Grace stiffened at the close proximity between them. She could only raise her eyes to look into his and
said, "You don''t need to learn. There are a lot of people in your house that can cook for you. You don''t
have the patience to learn this."

"How can you say that I don''t have patience? I really want to learn it!" Heinz said in a low voice, "I really
want to learn and cook for you in the future."
"There''s no need for that," Grace''s tone was still very calm. "Please move, I need to go over there."
Heinz looked down and fixed his gaze on her. With his eyes trained on her, he said, "Why are you in
such a hurry to leave? There''s no food. Your sister has gone to buy it. The rice has been steamed.
What else do you want to do?"
"Change the sheets," she said.
Heinz frowned. He knew that Tyler had slept in that bed.
He immediately said, "Change the bed as well. I''ll book a bed right away and get someone to send it
over."
Hearing that, Grace''s face fell. She looked up at him and said coldly, "We all know you are rich, but
please don''t show off your wealth here. We don''t need it."
Moreover, this was thendlord''s bed. She had no right to change it.
Upon hearing Grace''s words, Heinz realized that he seemed to have said something wrong.
Grace simply pushed him away and went to her bedroom.
Heinz followed closely behind and exined all the way, "Grace, I didn''t mean it that way. Let me
change the sheets for you."
After they both entered the room, Heinz closed the door behind them.
Hearing the door close, Grace frowned and asked, ''Why are you closing the door?"
Heinz spread out his hands and said, "You and Tyler closed the door earlier after entering, why can''t I
do the same?"
Grace raised her eyebrows and was a little speechless. She didn''t know that he was so calctive.
"Don''t re at me," Heinz continued, "I''ve restrained myself. With my temper, if I didn''t feel like I owed
you, I would''ve kicked the door open and taken you away when you were alone in the room with Tyler. I
wouldn''t have let you stay in the same room with him."
He was really domineering. It made Grace speechless.
She frowned and said, "Heinz, this is my home; this is my room. We have no rtionship besides the
fact that you are my son''s father. In fact, I promised you that I would try again, but I''m not sure if it''ll
work out. Don''t go too far."
"I''ve always gone too far," Heinz said. "It''s obvious that I''m not going too far now. You have to see my
progress. You can''t just look at my bad side always."
"Do you even have a good side?" Grace retorted.
Heinz nodded seriously and answered, "Yes."
Grace was once again at a loss for words. She looked at him and said, "Then, tell me, what''s good
about you?"
Heinz raised his eyebrows and said loudly, "I''m goodlooking."
Hearing this, Grace truly didn''t know what to say anymore.
Heinz''s arrogance and narcissism could never be cured.
She didn''t intend to pay attention to him any longer, so she quickly walked to the bedside and removed
the sheets and quilts.
Heinz also went over and said, "Look, you can''t even deny it. I''m pretty good-looking, right?"
Then, he walked to Grace''s side and reached out to pick up the quilt, wanting to help her.
Grace pped him on the arm and said, "Get out of the way. Don''t mess things up for me."
"I''m helping you, how can you say that I''m messing things up?" he asked unhappily.
"You only know how to cause more trouble for me," she said bluntly.
Heinz pouted, "Can you stop criticizing me?"
Grace snorted and began to work. She took the covers to the washing machine, stuffed them into it and
started washing them.
When she came back, she put a clean set of quilt and sheets on the bed.
Heinz looked at her as he helped her to adjust the sheets.
"Why won''t you say something?" He walked up to her and blocked her way, questioning, "Can you talk
to me properly?"
Grace looked up at him again and said with disdain, "Heinz, besides being good-looking, what else are
you good at?"
"I''m skilled," he said seriously, staring into her eyes.
"Skilled? Are you talking about your fighting skills?" Grace snorted, "Who wants to fight you? If you are
good at it, why don’t you go and cast in some action movie?"
Heinz''s eyes shed, and a smile appeared in his eyes. Then, he stared at Grace and uttered after a
long while, "What I meant was that I''m skilled in bed. You can''t deny it. You''ve tried it with me."
