    “What… What did you say?”


    “30 million. Did I make myself clear?” Sean replied.


    “But… But…”


    “Shut up, Zander. Let him charge the card and tell him to f* ck off.”

    “Got it.” Zander immediately took out a card.


    Everyone present focused on the card in Zander’s hand. All of them were silent, not daring to speak.


    The half-bald man’s head buzzed as he thought, ‘Could I possibly have hit the jackpot suddenly?’


    As he hesitated to take it, the manager shouted again.


    “Are you kidding me? Do you have 30 million just because you said so? Do you have any money? Why


    are you pretending when you have no money? We’ll only find out if you have money after charging the


    card.


    “I think these two only said that to get away!”


    The statement was like a wake-up call.


    Everyone there nodded in agreement.


    “The manager has a good point.”


    “Yeah. What if they make a run for it after beating us up?


    How humiliating it would be if word got out that so many of us had been insulted and beaten up by two


    men?”


    The boss shouted.


    “Be quiet. I’m going to get the payment terminal machine. Don’t let these two leave. I’d like to see if


    they’re lying or serious.”


    With that said, the boss ran out in a sh.


    No one would expect a man with a belly that big could run that fast.


    The manager smiled darkly at Zander and Sean as if he had seen through Zander and Sean.


    “Just wait and see. You two are in for itter.”


    Sean did not want to bother with the smart-ass, so he turned around and started checking the


    surveince footage again.


    Zander nced indignantly at the manager. He was looking forward to what kind of expression the


    manager would make next. He was amused to think about it.


    The half-bald man came over with the payment terminal machine in less than half a minute.


    Zander did not bother to look at him. He swiped the card and quickly pressed a few buttons.


    “30 million dors received.”


    The whole surveince room was silent as the prompt tone rang.


    The half-bald man’s head buzzed. His hands shook violently as he held the payment terminal machine.


    He even wondered if he was dreaming.


    Those around him also looked at Sean with shock.


    It was hard to imagine what rich person would be able to do this so forcefully without any investigation


    or concern for the return on the acquisition.


    It was terrifying.


    The manager turned ghastly pale after seeing that. He knew he had dug himself a deep hole this time.


    He could only swallow it regretfully. He was finished this time.


    Zander nced at the half-bald man. “You’ve received the money. Shouldn’t you ask your men to f*ck


    off with you?”


    “We’re leaving. We’re leaving now.” The half-bald man beamed.


    “Well, don’t you and your friend want to check the surveince footage, sir?”


    The half-bald man chuckled as he rubbed his hands. “Here’s the thing. We’re professionals after all. It


    will be much more efficient if you have our staff on board. Just let us know if you need us, and we’ll


    carry out your orders immediately.”


    Sean nced over his shoulder at the half-bald man.


    “What’s your name?”


    “Hehe, my name is Jeremiah Forrest.”
