    Sean started the car and drove L toward her college.


    “Sean, how do you know the chief police?” L asked curiously.


    “He was my subordinate when he was in the army. Then he retired and came here to work as the chief


    police,” Sean exined sinctly.


    When L heard this, she looked at Sean with even greater admiration.


    They reached the college.


    However, you could hardly see anyone on the college campus.


    It was because the first ss was now ongoing, and college students with sses must be in ss.


    Most students without sses to attend were sleepingte in their dormitories.


    Thus, it was normal to see few people on campus.


    Sean asked L to get off the car and watched her enter the campus before turning the car around to


    head toward the police station.


    At a building near the college entrance, L sneaked into the ssroom through the back door and sat


    down in thest row.


    “L, I think I saw you get out of a Maserati,” the female ssmate at the window asked as she looked


    at L suspiciously.


    “Yes, my boyfriend drove. The Maserati is his new car,” L said proudly.


    A male ssmate nearby scoffed and said, “What boyfriend? He’s more like your sugar daddy!”


    “So what if he’s my sugar daddy? You can’t even find a sugar mommy if you want to!”
