Chapter 1947
Sandra was instantly embarrassed and excited at the same time.
He looked inquisitively at Bokir, asking Moana if he wanted to hire a princess. However, a cry of
surprise came from a distance before Moana had said anything.
”Dr. Lennon! You came!” Then a young woman in a miniskirt and a crop top quickly ran toward Moana
and Sandra.
The young woman was L, who went to give trouble to Moana before and had her gonorrhea cured
by George.
L was overjoyed to see George. She ran toward Moana and Sandra, pushing the bartender away as
soon as she reached him.
“They’re the guests I invited. We’re good here. Go about your business,” L said happily.
The bartender smiled and left.
Once L sat down, Moana asked, “Do you work here? Do you work every day?”
L replied, “Well, yes, I work here, but not every day. I onlye here Monday to Friday. After all, I
have a personal life. There’s no way I can spend all my time here.”
Then L said, “Don’t look down on me. I’m a college student! I’m here to earn my tuition and living
expenses.”
Moana and Sandra were surprised to hear this.
L’s a college student?
“Why do you have to earn your tuition and living expenses? Where are your parents? Don’t they
provide for you?” Sandra asked.
L rolled her eyes at Sandra and said, “If my parents were alive, they wouldn’t leave me alone. But
my parents are long dead. I don’t have anyone but me.”
“Sorry to remind you of something bad.” Moana said apologetically.
However, L waved her hand gantly. “My parents have been dead for years. It doesn’t bother me
anymore.”
Moana and Sandra were dumbstruck.
”Tell us about yourself. Sandra and I are curious,” Moana continued saying.

L replied in acknowledgment before telling her life story.
L was from Midwich. She was born into an ordinary family. Her mother was a housewife, while her
father was an ordinary office worker. Although her family conditions were ordinary, their life was happy.
However, L’s parents were killed in a car ident just before L graduated from junior high school.
Since then, L’s life had been turned upside down.
She had exhausted her family’s savings by the time she was in high school. Although she was admitted
to a local university in Midwich, her tuition and living expenses were a problem.
As a freshman, L took advantage of her free time to work at White Rose Nightclub in the evening.
Although she only worked from 8 pm. to 10 p.m., she was tired because she often had to drink with her
clients. However, despite its reputation, the job did offer quick money.
L not only had enough tuition money but also a pretty good life.
”If you’ve saved enough money, why work here? You have already saved 200,000 dors yourself.
Including the 100,000 dors that the person from the Yale family had paid you, you already have
300,000 dors. Is all that money not enough to put you through college?” Moana asked with a frown.
