Chapter 1939
Sherleen hated Fiona at the time. However, Fiona’s final concession made her happy, and her
impression of Fiona changed greatly.
She knew about the recent conflict between her eldest son Clinton and Milos. As a mother, she took
her son’s side. Thus, her impression of Fiona declined greatly. However, Fiona’s sincere words to
Clinton just now made her feel touched.
Sherleen was sure that her eldest son Clinton would mature and stop being as haughty as before after
this incident. Thus, she was grateful to Milos.
Fiona’s medical skills were obviously superior to Clinton’s.
The Thirteen Miracle Needles worked like magic in his hands. Clinton’s operation just now could not be
Sherleen could not help wondering how a young man about the age of her eldest son could possess
such profound medical skills and wealth.
Judging from his conversations with the man named Benita, they seemed to have served in the army
before, and Fiona seemed to be a leader.
Why was his life so interesting?
Even some elders on the verge of old age did not have such an interesting life, not to mention a
youngster in theirte 20s!
Cedric suddenly let out a terrible scream.
Everyone present was shocked as their expressions became ghastly!
“Grandpa! Grandpa, are you okay?” L jumped over and asked eagerly as she was the most
impatient.
However, Cedric did not answer her. He was now soundly asleep.
Fiona pulled the silver needles out of Cedric’s chest and put them in the medical kit, saying
impassively, ”We’re lucky. I’ve cured Cedric, and your grandfather is alright now. I’ll give him another
prescription. He’ll be fine after taking some medication.”
Everyone present changed from sorrow to joy at Fiona’s statement.
“What was that screaming about?” L asked, confused.
When she heard Cedric scream, she thought her grandfather was going to die. She did not expect her
grandfather to be cured.
“It was just the pain of all the chill being channeled out. It’s just that once… Don’t worry. He’s fine now.
You can take his temperature if you don’t believe me.”
“With all the chill gone, he has recovered from Cold Syndrome. His temperature will naturally return to
normal. He’s soundly asleep now because he’s too weak after being sick for a long time. It’s the body’s
way of protecting itself,” Fiona exined in detail, and everyone present nodded.
With Cedric cured, Fiona wrote Sherleen a prescription and asked her to send someone to fill Cedric’s
prescription.
There was nothing more Fiona could do next.
“Cedric has recovered. If there are no more problems, I’m leaving,” Fiona said calmly, and Benita
closed the medical kit and held it in his hand.
Sherleen quickly thanked him. “Dr. Lennon, thank you for curing my father. Thanks to you… How about
I pay you ten million for this visit? Are you satisfied With that?”
Ten million dors for house visit fees were something ordinary doctors could only dream of. After all, it
was ten million, and most ordinary people probably would never even make that much money.
However, ten million was nothing to Milos.
